Word on the street is that prices will start in the $300,000s for a two bedroom (they were off ered for $900,000 in 2006) with all 49 units (2 - 4 bedrooms) under a million (in 2006 asking prices reached $2.4m for the 4 bedroom units). beaver creek/vail wins 2015 world alpine ski championships!The road to the 2015 FIS World Alpine Ski Championships will run right
through the Vail Valley as the International Ski Federation (FIS) Council
voted to award the 2015 Championships to Beaver Creek/Vail by a vote of
eight, defeating both Cortina, Italy and St. Moritz, Switzerland to host the
event. The Vail Valley was also host to the 1989 and 1999 World Alpine
Ski Championships.
