Conclusion of two articles

Children with PTSD might not only be diagnosed comorbid disorders (e.g., major depression disorder, conduct order, ADHD, and substance abuse ), but associated deficiencies in memory and learning.

Many researches have indicated EMDR treatment provides high efficacy on the adult with PTSD and it “might” also beneficial to the children with PTSD. But more EMDR studies are needed for treating children with PTSD.

Recommendations As a counselor, we have to

understand Post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms can come and go. We might always take fixing people’s problems as ours duty. However, PTSD is a kind of disorder in a circle of fixing and breaking. So having a tailoring treatment plan would be the only antidote.
