• Don’tforget!Youshouldn’teatordrinkanythingotherthanwater9-12hours before your blood draw. Take your medications, including bloodpressure medications, with a sip of water. If you have diabetes, pleasecheck with your doctor about taking insulin or oral medications if you willbe fasting. Be sure to print your confirmation page and take it to yourappointment.
