Actions

What you can do with your photo

Add a Tag

Add a tag to describe the picture

Add a Tag

This makes it a clickable link to find all of your photos with the same tag, or other people’s photos with the same tag. This is great for organizing photos.

Add a Note

You can add a note of any size and place it directly on the picture. Drag to the location, and make your note in the box. It will auto resize to fit what you type.

Add to Map

Add the picture’s location to a map by searching for the location in the top right. Click Save Location. (You can set which users can see the location on a map.)

Add to Map

Click Edit Location to change or delete picture from map.

Add to Map

Click “Remove this photo from the map” to delete the mapped item. This will NOT delete the picture from your photostream.

Add to/Remove from Set

Add the picture to a Set by clicking on it. A check mark will appear to indicate it has been added.

Add to/Remove from Set

Remove a picture from a set by hovering over the set until it turns red, then click. A check mark will appear to indicate it has been removed from the set.

Add to Group

Add the picture to a Group by clicking on it. A check mark will appear to indicate it has been added.

View EXIF Info

EXIF info is the settings data captured while taking or later editing a picture. Some photographers share their EXIF info – you can tell by the presence of a link to the camera used to take the picture, or a link under the Actions tab. Example: Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS

Don’t worry if you don’t know what this information means right now. We’ll talk about it during the course! Now you know where to find it…

Groups

You’ll access the Photo Mojo groups page by clicking on the Groups link at the top. This will list all groups you are a member of. Click the Photo Mojo e-course link to go to our Group’s page. Note: Your Groups page will look different.

Groups: Home Page for Photo Mojo

The Group Pool will show all pictures added to the group by users. (This screenshot doesn’t show any pictures because there aren’t any yet!)

You can add pictures to the group pool here (as well as from the photo’s page directly).

Groups: Discussion Board

The discussion board is for your use, feel free to start new discussions or reply to others already in progress. I will use the discussion board to make announcements about the course, and post assignments.

Groups: Post

You can reply to any post on the discussion board by clicking on the link to the post from the Group’s main page.

Groups: Rules

I’ve limited each user’s posts to 5 per day. This will make sure you pick your best photos to post! Please click and read the group rules. They’re short, I promise.
