Surah : (2) Surah : (2) ةرقبلا ةرقبلا Verse # 1 Verse # 1

ملا

Alif Laam Meem

Alif, Lam, Meem.

نيقتملل ىده هيف بير ال بتجللٱ كلذ

for the God-conscious. a Guidance in it, doubt no (is) the book That

ي ق و ي د ه ب ي ر ب ت ك

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -

حمقزر اممو ةولصلٱ نوميقيو بيغلٱب نونمؤي نيذلٱ

We haveprovided them and out of what the prayer, and establish in the unseen, believe Those who

ق ز ر و ل ص م و ق ب ي غ ن م أ ىذلٱ

نوقفني

they spend.

ق ف ن

Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them,

لزنأ آمو كيلإ لزنأ آمب نونمؤي نيذلٱو

was sent down and what to you (is) sent down in what believe And those who

ل ز ن ىلإ ل ز ن ن م أ ىذلٱ

نونقوي مه ةرخاءلٱبو كلبق نم

firmly believe. they and in the Hereafter before you from

ن ق ي ر خ أ ل ب ق

And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].

مه لوأو كئ مهبر نم ىده لوأ كئ

they and those - their Lord, from Guidance (are) on Those

ب ب ر ي د ه

نوحلفملٱ

(are) the successful ones.

ح ل ف

Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.

Rukku Rukku # # 1 1

Warning Warning is is of of no no use use for for those those who who reject reject faith faith

مأ مهترذنأء هلل ءآوس اورفك نيذلٱ نإ

or whether youwarn them to them (it) is same disbelieve[d], those who Indeed,

مأ ر ذ ن ي و س ر ف ك ىذلٱ

نونمؤي ال مهرذنت مل

they believe. not you warn them, not

ن م أ ر ذ ن

Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.

و مهعمس و مهبولق ٱ متخ

and on their hearing, and on their hearts on Allah Has set a seal

ع م س ب ل ق ه ل أ م ت خ

ميظع باذ مهلو ةوشغ مهرصبأ

great. (is) a punishment And for them (is) a veil. their vision

م ظ ع ب ذ ع و ش غ ر ص ب

Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment.

Rukku Rukku # # 2 2

Hypocrites Hypocrites and and the the consequences consequences of of hypocrisy hypocrisy

مويلٱبو ٱب انماء لوقي نم سانلٱ نمو

and in the Day in Allah "We believed say, (are some) who the people And of

م و ه ي ل أ ن م أ ل و ق س و ن

نينمؤمب مه امو رخاءلٱ

(are) believers (at all). they but not [the] Last,"

ن م أ ر خ أ

And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah and the Last Day," but they are not believers.

آلإ نوعدخي امو اونماء نيذلٱو ٱ نوعدخي

except they deceive and not believe[d], and those who Allah They seek todeceive

الإ ع د خ ن م أ ىذلٱ ه ل أ ع د خ

نورعشي امو مهسفنأ

they realize (it). and not themselves,

ر ع ش س ف ن

They [think to] deceive Allah and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.

مهلو اضرم ٱ مهدازف ضرم مهبولق ىف

and for them (in) disease; Allah so has increasedthem (is) a disease, their hearts In

ض ر م ه ل أ د ي ز ض ر م ب ل ق

نوبذجلي اونحب امب ميلأ باذ

[they] lie. they used to because painful (is) a punishment

ب ذ ك ن و ك م ل أ ب ذ ع

In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.

ضرألٱ ىف اودسفت ال مهل ليق اذإو

the earth," in spreadcorruption "(Do) not to them, it is said And when

ض ر د أ س ف ل و ق اذإ

نوحلصم نحن امنإ اولاق(are) reformers." we "Only they say,

ح ل ص ل و ق

And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on the earth," they say, "We are but reformers."

نورعشي ال لو نجل نودسفملٱ مه مهنإ آلأ

they realize (it). not [and] but(are) the ones

who spreadcorruption,

themselves indeed they Beware,

ر ع ش د س ف

Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not.

سانلٱ نماء آمك اونماء مهل ليق اذإو

the people," believed as "Believe to them, it is said And when

س و ن ن م أ ن م أ ل و ق اذإ

مهنإ آلأ ءآهفسلٱ نماء آمك نمؤنأ اولاق

certainly they Beware, the fools?" believed as "Should webelieve they say,

ه ف س ن م أ ن م أ ل و ق

نوملعي ال لو نجل ءآهفسلٱ مه

they know. not [and] but (are) the fools themselves

م ل ع ه ف س

And when it is said to them, "Believe as the people have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not.

اذإو انماء اولاق اونماء نيذلٱ اوقل اذإو

But when "We believe[d]." they say, believe[d], those who they meet And when

اذإ ن م أ ل و ق ن م أ ىذلٱ ي ق ل اذإ

امنإ مكعم انإ اولاق حمطيش ىلإ اولخonly (are) with you, "Indeed, we they say, their evil ones, with they are alone

ل و ق ن ط ىلإ ش و ل خ

نوءزهتسم نحن

(are) mockers." we

أ ز ه

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We believe"; but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say, "Indeed, we are with you; we were only mockers."

نوهمعي غط حم ىف مهدميو مهب ئزهتسي ٱ

they wanderblindly.

theirtransgression, in and prolongs

them at them, mocks Allah

ه م ي ع غ ط د د م أ ز ه ه ل أ

[But] Allah mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.

تحبر امف ىدهلٱب ةللضلٱ اورتشٱ نيذلٱ لوأ كئ

profited So not for [the]guidance. [the] astraying bought (are) the ones

who Those

ح ب ي ر د ه ل ل ض ي ر ش ىذلٱ

نيدتهم اونحب امو مهترجت

guided-ones. were they and not their commerce

ي د ه ن و ك ر ج ت

Those are the ones who have purchased error [in exchange] for guidance, so their transaction has brought no profit, nor were they guided.

Rukku Rukku # # 2 2

Examples Examples of of hypocrite's hypocrite's deeds deeds

تءآضأ آملف اران دقوتسٱ ىذلٱ لثمك مهلثم

it illuminated then, when a fire, kindled (of) the one who (is) like (the)example Their example

أ و ض ر و ن د ق و ىذلٱ ل ث م ل ث م

ىف مهكرتو مهرونب ٱ بهذ ۥهلوح ام

in and left them their light Allah took away (was) aroundhim what

ك ر ت ر و ن ه ل أ ب ه ذ ل و ح

نورصبي ال تملظ

(do) they see. (so) not darkness[es],

ر ص ب م ل ظ

Their example is that of one who kindled a fire, but when it illuminated what was around him, Allah took away their light and left them in darkness [so] they could not see.

نوعجري ال مهف ع مجلب مص

[they] will notreturn. not so they blind, dumb, Deaf,

ع ج ر ي م ع م ك م ب م ص

Deaf, dumb and blind - so they will not return [to the right path].

درو تملظ هيف ءآمسلٱ نم بيصك وأ

and thunder, darkness[es], in it (are) the sky from like a rainstorm Or

د ع م ر ل ظ و م س ب و ص

قعوصلٱ نم مهناذاء ىف مهعبصأ نولعجي قربو

the thunderclaps from their ears in their fingers They put and lightning.

ق ع ص ن ذ أ ع ب ل ص ع ج ق ر ب

نيرفجللٱب طيحم ٱو توملٱ رذح

the disbelievers. (is) [the One Who]encompasses And Allah [the] death. (in) fear (of)

ر ف ك ط و ح ه ل أ ت و م ر ذ ح

Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death. But Allah is encompassing of the disbelievers.

مهل ءآضأ آمل مهرصبأ فطخي قربلٱ دحبي

for them it flashes Whenever their sight. snatches away the lightning Almost

أ و ض ل ل ك ر ص ب ف ط خ ق ر ب د و ك

ولو اوماق هلل ملظأ آذإو هيف اوشم

And if they stand(still). on them it darkens and when in it, they walk

م و ق م ل ظ اذإ ي ش م

ٱ نإ مهرصبأو مهعمسب بهذل ٱ ءحبش

Allah Indeed, and their sight. their hearing,He would

certainly havetaken away

Allah, had willed

ه ل أ ر ص ب ع م س ب ه ذ ه ل أ أ ي ش

ريدق ء ل

All-Powerful. thing every (is) on

ر د ق أ ي ش ل ل ك

The lightning almost snatches away their sight. Every time it lights [the way] for them, they walk therein; but when darkness comes over them, they stand [still]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken away their hearing and their sight. Indeed,

Allah is over all things competent.

Rukku Rukku # # 3 3

Allah's Allah's demand demand to to worship worship Him Him

نيذلٱو مجلقلخ ىذلٱ مجلبر اودبعٱ سانلٱ اهيأي

and those created you the One Who your Lord, worship mankind! O

ىذلٱ ق ل خ ىذلٱ ب ب ر د ب ع س و ن

نوقتت مجللعل مكلبق نم

become righteous. so that you may before you, from

ي ق و ل ب ق

O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous -

ءآنب ءآمسلٱو حبشرف ضرألٱ مجلل لعج ىذلٱ

a canopy, and the sky a resting place the earth for you made The One Who

ي ن ب و م س ش ر ف ض ر ل أ ع ج ىذلٱ

نم ۦهب جرخأف ءآم ءآمسلٱ نم لزنأو

[of] therewith then broughtforth water, the sky from and sent down

ج ر خ ه و و م م س ل ز ن

ادادنأ اولعجت الف مجلل اقزر ترمثلٱ

rivals to Allah set up So (do) not for you. (as) provision the fruits

د د ه ن ل أ ل ع ج ق ز ر ر م ث

نوملعت متنأو

[you] know. while you

م ل ع

[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

Rukku Rukku # # 3 3

Claim Claim of of the the Qur'an Qur'an to to be be the the Book Book of of Allah Allah

انلزن امم بير ىف متك نإو

to We haverevealed about what doubt in you are And if

ل ز ن ب ي ر ن و ك

مكءآدهش اوعدٱو ۦهلثم نم ةروسب اوتأف اندبع

your witnesses and call like it [of] a chapter then produce Our slave,

د ه ش و ع د ل ث م ر و س ي ت أ د ب ع

نيقدص متك نإ ٱ نود نم

truthful. you are if Allah other than from

ق د ص ن و ك ه ل أ ن و د

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a Surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah , if you should be truthful.

رانلٱ اوقتٱف اولعفت نلو اولعفت مل نإف

the Fire then fear will you do, and never you do, not But if

ر و ن ي ق و ل ع ف ل ع ف

نيرفجللل تدأ ةراجحلٱو سانلٱ اهدوقو ىتلٱ

for the disbelievers. prepared and [the] stones, (is) [the] men [its] fuel whose

ر ف ك د د ع ر ج ح س و د ن ق و ىذلٱ

But if you do not - and you will never be able to - then fear the Fire, whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.

Rukku Rukku # # 3 3

Reward Reward for for the the believers believers

مهل نأ تحلصلٱ اولمعو اونماء نيذلٱ رشبو

for them that [the] righteousdeeds, and do believe, (to) those who And give good

ح ل ص ل م ع ن م أ ىذلٱ ر ش ب

اوقزر امل رهنألٱ اهتحت نم ىرجت تنج

they areprovided Every time the rivers. under them [from] flow (will be)

Gardens,

ق ز ر ل ل ك ر ه ن ت ح ي ت ر ج ن ن ج

ىذلٱ اذه اولاق اقزر ةرمث نم اهنم

the one which "This (is) they (will) say, (as) provision, fruit of therefrom

ىذلٱ ل و ق ق ز ر ر م ث

مهلو اهبشتم ۦهب اوتأو لبق نم انقزر

And for them (things) inresemblance; therefrom And they will be

given before." from we wereprovided

ه ب ش ي ت أ ل ب ق ق ز ر

نودلخ اهيف مهو ةرهطم جوزأ آهيف

(will) abide forever. therein and they purified, spouses therein

د ل خ ر ه ط ج و ز

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with

before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally.

Rukku Rukku # # 3 3

Parable Parable of of gnat gnat may may confound confound many many and and enlighten enlighten many many

الثم برضي نأ ۦتسي ال ٱ نإ

an example set forth to ashamed (is) not Allah Indeed,

ل ث م ب ر ض ي ي ح ه ل أ

اونماء نيذلٱ امأف اهقوف امف ةضوعب ام

believed, those who Then as for above it. and (even)something (of) a mosquito (like) even

ن م أ ىذلٱ امأ ق و ف ض ع ب

نيذلٱ امأو مهبر نم قحلٱ هنأ نوملعيف

those who And as for their Lord. from (is) the truth that it [thus] they willknow

ىذلٱ امأ ب ب ر ق ق ح م ل ع

الثم اذهب ٱ دارأ آذام نولوقيف اورفك

example? by this Allah (did) intend what [thus] they willsay disbelieved

ل ث م ه ل أ د و ر ل و ق ر ف ك

امو اريثك ۦهب ىدهيو اريثك ۦهب لضي

And not many. by it and He guides many by it He lets goastray

ر ث ك ي د ه ر ث ك ل ل ض

نيقسفلٱ الإ ۦهب لضي

the defiantly disobedient. except by it He lets go astray

ق س ف الإ ل ل ض

Indeed, Allah is not timid to present an example - that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who have believed know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this as an example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient,

ثم ۦهق دعب نم ٱ دهع نوضقني نيذلٱ

its ratification, after from (of) Allah (the) Covenant break Those who

ق ث و د ع ب ه ل أ د ه ع ض ق ن ىذلٱ

لصوي نأ ۦهب ٱ رمأ آم نوعطقيو

be joined to it Allah has ordered what and [they] cut

ل ص و ه ل أ ر م أ ع ط ق

نورسخلٱ مه لوأ كئ ضرألٱ ىف نودسفيو

(are) the losers. they Those, the earth. in and [they] spreadcorruption

ر س خ ض ر د أ س ف

Who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.

Rukku Rukku # # 3 3

How How can can you you deny deny Allah? Allah? 2:[28-29] 2:[28-29]

مث مجليحأف اتومأ متكو ٱب نورفجلت فيك

then then He gaveyou life; dead While you were in Allah? (can) you

disbelieve How

ي ي ح ت و م ن و ك ه ل أ ر ف ك ف ي ك

نوعجرت هيلإ مث مكيحي مث مجلتمي

you will bereturned. to Him then He will give you life, then He will cause you to

ع ج ر ىلإ ي ي ح ت و م

How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned.

ضرألٱ ىف ام مجلل قلخ ىذلٱ وه

the earth, (is) in what for you created (is) the OneWho He

ض ر ق أ ل خ ىذلٱ

عبس نهوسف ءآمسلٱ ىلإ ىوتسٱ مث اعيمج

seven and fashionedthem the heaven to He turned Moreover all.

ع ب س ي و س و م س ىلإ ي و س ع م ج

ميل ء لب وهو تومس

(is) All-Knowing. thing of every And He heavens.

م ل ع أ ي ش ل ل ك و م س

It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, [His being above all creation], and made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.

Rukku Rukku # # 4 4

TheSTORY TheSTORY of of Adam's Adam's creation: creation: 2:[30] 2:[30]

ىف لاج ىنإ لملل ةكئ كبر لاق ذإو

in going to place "Indeed, I (am) to the angels, your Lord said And when

ل ع ج ك ل م ب ب ر ل و ق ذإ

دسفي نم اهيف لعجتأ اولاق ةفيلخ ضرألٱ

will spreadcorruption (one) who in it "Will You place they said, a vicegerent, the earth

د س ف ل ع ج ل و ق ف ل خ ض ر أ

سدقنو كدمحب حبسن نحنو ءآمدلٱ كفسيو اهيف

and we sanctify with Yourpraises

[we] glorify(You) while we, [the] blood[s], and will shed in it

س د ق د م ح ح ب س و م ك د ف س

نوملعت ال ام ملأ ىنإ لاق كل

you know." not what [I] know "Indeed, I He said, [to] You."

م ل ع م ل ع ل و ق

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your

praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

Rukku Rukku # # 4 4

Victory Victory of of knowledge knowledge

مهضرع مث اهل ءآمسألٱ مداء ملو

to He displayedthem Then all of them. the names - Adam And He taught

ض ر ع ل ل ك و م س مدآ م ل ع

متك نإ ءآلؤه ءآمسأب ىنو ـ بنأ لاقف لملٱ ةكئ

you are if (of) these, of (the) names "Inform Me then He said, the angels,

ن و ك و م س أ ب ن ل و ق ك ل م

نيقدص

truthful."

ق د ص

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

ام الإ آنل مل ال كنحبس اولاق

what except (is) for us knowledge No "Glory be toYou! They said,

الإ م ل ع ح ب س ل و ق

ميكحلٱ ميلعلٱ تنأ كنإ آنمل

the All-Wise. (are) the All-Knowing, You Indeed You! You have taught us.

م ك ح م ل ع م ل ع

They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise."

مهئآمسأب مهأبنأ آملف مهئآمسأب مهئنأ مدا ـ ي لاق

of their names, he had informedthem And when of their names." Inform them "O Adam! He said,

و م س أ ب ن و م س أ ب ن مدآ ل و ق

بيغ ملأ ىنإ مجلل لقأ ملأ لاق

(the) unseen [I] know Indeed, I to you, I say "Did not He said,

ب ي غ م ل ع ل و ق ل و ق

متك امو نودبت ام ملأو ضرألٱو تومسلٱ

you [were] and what you reveal what and I know and the earth, (of) the heavens

ن و ك و د ب م ل ع ض ر و أ م س

نومتجلت

conceal."

م ت ك

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."

Rukku Rukku # # 4 4

Angels Angels show show respect respect to to Adam Adam

آلإ اودجسف مداءل اودجسٱ لملل ةكئ انلق ذإو

except [so] theyprostrated to Adam," "Prostrate to the angels, We said And when

الإ د ج س مدآ د ج س ك ل م ل و ق ذإ

نيرفجللٱ نم نحبو ربجلتسٱو ىبأ سلبإ

the disbelievers. of and became and was arrogant He refused Iblis.

ر ف ك ن و ك ر ب ك ي ب لبإ أ

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

الو ةنجلٱ كجوزو تنأ نكسٱ مدا ـ ي انلقو

and [you both]eat (in) Paradise, and your spouse you Dwell "O Adam! And We said,

ل ك أ ن ن ج ج و ز ن ك س مدآ ل و ق

هذه ابرقت الو امتش ثيح ادر اهنم

this [you two]approach But do not you [both] wish. (from) wherever freely from it

ب ر ق أ ي ش ث ي ح د غ ر

نيملظلٱ نم انوجلتف ةرجشلٱ

the wrongdoers." of lest you [both] be [the] tree,

م ل ظ ن و ك ر ج ش

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."

Rukku Rukku # # 4 4

ShaitShait�n n caused caused Adam Adam to to lose lose paradise paradise

هيف انحب امم امهجرخأف اهنع نطيشلٱ امهلزأف

in [it]. they [both]were from what and he got [both

of] them out from it, the ShaitaanThen made

[both of] themslip

ن و ك ج ر خ ن ط ل ش ل ز

ىف مجللو ود ضعبل مكضعب اوطبهٱ انلقو

in and for you (as) enemy; to others some of you "Go down (all ofyou), And We said,

و د ع ض ع ب ض ع ب ط ب ل ه و ق

نيح ىلإ عتمو رقتسم ضرألٱ

a period." for and a provision (is) a dwelling place the earth

ن ي ىلإ ح ع ت م ر ر ق ض ر أ

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

Rukku Rukku # # 4 4

Adam's Adam's repentance repentance and and his his forgiveness forgiveness

هيل باتف تمل ۦهبر نم مداء لتف

towards him. So (his Lord)turned words, his Lord from Adam Then received

ب و ت م ل ك ب ب ر مدآ ي ق ل

ميحرلٱ باوتلٱ وه ۥهنإ

the Most Merciful. (is) the Oft-returning (tomercy), He Indeed He!

م ح ر ب و ت

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

Rukku Rukku # # 5 5

Need Need of of Allah's Allah's revelations revelations for for guidance guidance

ىنم مجلنتأي امإف اعيمج اهنم اوطبهٱ انلق

from Me comes to you and when, all (of you), from it "Go down We said,

ي ت أ امإ ع م ج ط ب ل ه و ق

هلل فوخ الف ىاده عبت نمف ىده

(will be) onthem fear [then] no My Guidance, follows then whoever Guidance,

ف و خ ي د ه ع ب ت ي د ه

نونزحي مه الو

will grieve. they and not

ن ز ح

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

رانلٱ بحصأ لوأ كئ آنيا ـ ب اوبذكو اورفك نيذلٱو

(of) the Fire; (are the)companions those Our Signs, and deny who

disbelieve[d] And those

ر و ن ب ح ص ي ي ب أ ذ ك ر ف ك ىذلٱ

نودلخ اهيف مه

(will) abide forever." in it they

د ل خ

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

Rukku Rukku # # 5 5

مجليل تمعنأ ىتلٱ ىتمعن اوركذٱ ليءرسإ ىني

upon you I bestowed which My Favor Remember (of) Israel! O Children

م ع ن ىذلٱ م ع ن ر ك ذ رسإ ي ن ب

نوبهرٱف ىيإو مكدهعب فوأ ىدهعب اوفوأوfear [Me]. and Me Alone your covenant I will fulfill My Covenant and fulfill,

ب ه ر د ه ع ي ف و د ه ع ي ف و

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.

الو مكعم امل اقدصم تلزنأ آمب اونماءو

and (do) not (is) with you, that which confirming I have sentdown in what And believe

ق د ص ل ز ن ن م أ

ىتيا ـ ب اورتشت الو ۦهب رفحب لوأ اونوجلتMy Signs (for) exchange And (do) not of it. disbeliever (the) first be

ي ي ي أ ر ش ر ف ك ل و أ ن و ك

نوقتٱف ىيإو اليلق انمث

fear [Me]. and Me Alone small, a price

ي ق و ل ل ق ن م ث

And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.

متنأو قحلٱ اومتجلتو لطبلٱب قحلٱ اوسلت الو

while you the Truth and conceal with [the]falsehood the Truth mix And (do) not

ق ق ح م ت ل ك ط ب ق ق ح س ب ل

نوملعت

[you] know.

م ل ع

And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].

نيعكرلٱ عم اوعكرٱو ةوكزلٱ اوتاءو ةولصلٱ اوميقأوthose who bow

down. with and bow down zakah and give the prayer And establish

ع ك ر ع ك ر و ك ز ي ت أ و ل ص م و ق

And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].

Rukku Rukku # # 5 5

Do Do you you advise advise others others and and forget forget yourselves? yourselves? 2:[44] 2:[44]

نولتت متنأو مكسفنأ نوستو ربلٱب سانلٱ نورمأتأ

[you] recite while you yourselves, and you forget [the]righteousness [the] people Do you order

و ل ت س ف ن ي س ن ر ر ب س و ر ن م أ

نولقعت الفأ بتجللٱ

you use reason? Then, will not the Book?

ل ق ب ع ت ك

Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?

Allah's Allah's help help comes comes with with patience patience and and Salah Salah (Prayers) (Prayers)

الإ ةريبجلل اهنإو ةولصلٱو ربصلٱب اونعتسٱو

on except (is) surelydifficult and indeed, it and the prayer; through

patience And seek help

الإ ر ب ك و ل ص ر ب ص ن و ع

نيعشخلٱ

the humble ones,

ع ش خ

And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]

هيلإ مهنأو مهبر اوقلم مهنأ نونظي نيذلٱ

to Him and that they their Lord will meet that they believe Those who

ىلإ ب ب ر ي ق ل ن ن ظ ىذلٱ

نوعجر

will return.

ع ج ر

Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.

Rukku Rukku # # 6 6

Criminals Criminals will will find find no no way way out out on on the the Day Day of of Judgment Judgment

نيملعلٱ مجلتلضف ىنأو

the worlds. over [I] preferred you and that I

م ل ع ل ض ف

O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.

سفن نع سفن ىزجت ال اموي اوقتٱو(another) soul for any soul avail (will) not a day, And fear

س ف ن س ف ن ي ز ج م و ي ي ق و

ذخؤي الو ةعفش اهنم لبقي الو ـا يش

will be taken and not any intercession, from it will be accepted and not anything,

ذ خ أ ع ف ش ل ب ق أ ي ش

نورصني مه الو لد اهنم

will be helped. they and not a compensation, from it

ر ص ن ل د ع

And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided.

Israelites' Israelites' deliverance deliverance from from Pharaoh's Pharaoh's persecution: persecution: 2:[49-50] 2:[49-50]

ءوس مجلنوموسي نوعرف لاء نم مجلنجن ذإو

horrible(who were)afflicting you

(with)(of) Firaun (the) people from We saved you And when

أ و س م و س ل و أ و ج ن ذإ

مكلذ ىفو مكءحبسن نويحتسيو مكءآنبأ نوحبذي باذعلٱ

that And in your women. and letting live your sons slaughtering torment,

و س ي ن ي ح ي ن ب ح ب ذ ب ذ ع

ميظع مجلبر نم ءآلب

great. your Lord from (was) a trial

م ظ ع ب ب ر و ل ب

And [recall] when We saved your forefathers from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.

لاء آنقرغأو مجلنجنأف رحبلٱ مكب انقرف ذإو

(the) people and Wedrowned

then We savedyou, the sea, for you We parted And when

ل و أ ق ر غ و ج ن ر ح ب ق ر ف ذإ

نورظنت متنأو نوعرف

(were) looking. while you (of) Firaun

ر ظ ن

And [recall] when We parted the sea for you and saved you and drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking on.

Rukku Rukku # # 6 6

Their Their sin sin of of worshipping worshipping the the Calf Calf

متذختٱ مث ةليل نيعبرأ وم اندو ذإو

you took Then nights. forty (for) Musa We appointed And when

ذ خ أ ل ي ل ع ب ر د ع و ذإ

نوملظ متنأو ۦهدعب نم لجعلٱ

(were) wrongdoers. and you after him from the calf

م ل ظ د ع ب ل ج ع

And [recall] when We made an appointment with Moses for forty nights. Then you took [for worship] the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers.

مجللعل كلذ دعب نم مكنع انوفع مث

so that you may that, after from you We forgave Then

د ع ب و ف ع

(be) grateful.

ر ك ش

Then We forgave you after that so perhaps you would be grateful.

Rukku Rukku # # 6 6

Their Their repentance repentance through through slaying slaying the the culprits culprits

نودتهت مجللعل ناقرفلٱو بتجللٱ وم انتاء ذإو

(would be)guided. perhaps you and the

Criterion, the Book Musa We gave And when

ي د ه ق ر ف ب ت ك ي ت أ ذإ

And [recall] when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion that perhaps you would be guided.

متملظ مجلنإ موقي ۦهموقل وم لاق ذإو

[you] havewronged Indeed, you "O my people! to his people, Musa said And when

م ل ظ م و ق م و ق ل و ق ذإ

اولتقٱف مكئراب ىلإ اوبوتف لجعلٱ مكذاختٱب مكسفنأ

and kill your Creator, to So turn inrepentance the calf. by your taking yourselves

ل ت ق أ ر ب ىلإ ب و ت ل ج ع ذ خ أ س ف ن

باتف مكئراب دنع مجلل ريخ مكلذ مكسفنأ

Then He turned your Creator." with for you (is) better That yourselves.

ب و ت أ ر ب د ن ع ر ي خ س ف ن

ميحرلٱ باوتلٱ وه ۥهنإ مجليل

the Most Merciful. (is) the-returning, He Indeed He! towards you.

م ح ر ب و ت

And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by your taking of the calf [for worship]. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves. That is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator." Then He

accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

ىتح كل نمؤن نل ومي متلق ذإو

until in you (will) we believe Never "O Musa! you said, And when

ن م أ ل و ق ذإ

نورظنت متنأو ةقعصلٱ مجلتذخأف ةرهج ٱ ىرن

(were) looking. while you the thunderbolt So seized you manifestly." Allah we see

ر ظ ن ق ع ص ذ خ أ ر ه ج ه ل أ ي أ ر

And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we will never believe you until we see Allah outright"; so the thunderbolt took you while you were looking on.

نوركشت مجللعل مكتوم دعب نم مجلنعب مث

(be) grateful. so that you may your death, after from We revived you Then

ر ك ش ت و م د ع ب ث ع ب

Then We revived you after your death that perhaps you would be grateful.

ىولسلٱو نملٱ مجليل انلزنأو مامغلٱ مجليل انللظو

and [the] quails, [the] manna to you and We sentdown

(with) [the]clouds [over] you And We shaded

و ل ن س ن م ل ز ن م م غ ل ل ظ

انوملظ امو مجلنقزر ام ط تب نم اولthey wronged

Us, And not We haveprovided you." that (the) good

things from "Eat

م ل ظ ق ز ر ب ي ط ل ك أ

نوملظي مهسفنأ اونحب لو نجل

doing wrong. (to) themselves they were but

م ل ظ س ف ن ن و ك

And We shaded you with clouds and sent down to you manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not - but they were [only] wronging themselves.

Rukku Rukku # # 6 6

Their Their discontent discontent and and disbelief disbelief

اهنم اولف ةيرقلٱ هذه اولخدٱ انلق ذإو

from then eat town, this "Enter We said, And when

ل ك أ ي ر ل ق خ د ل و ق ذإ

اولوقو ادجس بابلٱ اولخدٱو ادر متش ثيح

And say, prostrating. the gate and enter abundantly, you wish[ed] wherever

ل و ق د ج س ب و ل ب خ د د غ أ ر ي ش ث ي ح

نينسحملٱ ديسو مجليطخ مجلل رفغن ةطح

the good-doers (inreward)."

And We willincrease your sins. for you We will forgive "Repentance."

ن س ح د ي ز أ ط خ ر ف غ ط ط ح

And [recall] when We said, "Enter this city and eat from it wherever you will in [ease and] abundance, and enter the gate bowing humbly and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens.' We will [then] forgive your sins for you, and We will increase the doers

of good [in goodness and reward]."

ليق ىذلٱ ري الوق اوملظ نيذلٱ لدبف

was said (that) which other (than) (the) word wronged those who But changed

ل و ق ىذلٱ ر ي غ ل و ق م ل ظ ىذلٱ ل د ب

نم ازجر اوملظ نيذلٱ انلزنأف مهل

from a punishment wronged, those who upon so We sentdown to them;

ز ج ر م ل ظ ىذلٱ ل ز ن

نوقسفي اونحب امب ءآمسلٱ

defiantly disobeying. they were because the sky

ق س ف ن و ك و م س

But those who wronged changed [those words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them, so We sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobeying.

Rukku Rukku # # 7 7

Miracle Miracle of of providing providing water water in in the the desert desert from from a a rock rock

كاصعب برضٱ انلقف ۦهموقل وم سسٱ ذإو

with your staff "Strike [so] We said, for his people, Musa asked (for)water And when

و ص ع ب ر ض ل و ق م و ق ي ق س ذإ

دق ان ةرشع اتثٱ هنم ترجفنٱف رجحلٱ

Indeed springs. twelve (of) from it Then gushedforth the stone."

ن ي ع ر ش ع ي ن ث ر ج ف ر ج ح

نم اوبرشٱو اول مهبرشم سانأ ل مل

from and drink "Eat their drinkingplace. (the) people all knew

ب ر ش ل ك أ ب ر ش س ن أ ل ل ك م ل ع

نيدسفم ضرألٱ ىف اوثعت الو ٱ قزر

spreadingcorruption." the earth in act wickedly and (do) not Allah, (the) provision

د س ف ض ر و أ ث ه ع ل أ ق ز ر

And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allah , and do not

commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."

Israelites Israelites rejected rejected the the heavenly heavenly food food and and Their Their disobedience disobedience and and transgressiontransgression

ماعط ربصن نل ومي متلق ذإو

food [on] we endure Never (will) "O Musa! you said, And when

م ع ط ر ب ص ل و ق ذإ

امم انل جرخي كبر انل عدٱف دحو

out of what for us to bring forth (to) your Lord for us so pray (of) one (kind),

ج ر خ ب ب ر و ع د د ح و

اهسدو اهموفو اهئآثقو اهلقب نم ضرألٱ تبت

[and] its lentils, [and] its garlic, [and] itscucumbers, its herbs, of the earth, grows

س د م ع و أ ف ث ل ق ق ض ب ر ت أ ب ن

ىذلٱب ىندأ وه ىذلٱ نولدبستأ لاق اهلصبو

for that which (is) inferior [it] that which "Would youexchange He said, and its onions."

ىذلٱ و ن د ىذلٱ ل د ب ل و ق ل ص ب

ام مجلل نإف ارصم اوطبهٱ ريخ وه

(is) what for you so indeed (to) a city, Go down (is) better? [it]

ر ص ط م ب ر ه ي خ

بضغب وءآبو ةنكسملٱو ةلذلٱ هلل تبرضو متلمبس

wrath and they drewon themselves and the misery the humiliation on them And were struck you have asked

(for)."

ب ض غ أ و ب ن ك س ل ل ذ ب ر ض ل أ س

تيا ـ ب نورفجلي اونحب مهنأب كلذ ٱ نم

in (the) Signs disbelieve used to because they That (was) Allah of

ي ي ر أ ف ك ن و ك ه ل أ

امب كلذ قحلٱ ريغب ۦنيبلٱ نولتقيو ٱ

(was) because That [the] right. without (any) the Prophets and kill (of) Allah

ق ق ح ر ي غ أ ب ن ل ت ق ه ل أ

نودتعي اونحبو اوصعtransgressing. and they were they disobeyed

و د ع ن و ك ي ص ع

And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions." [Moses] said, "Would you exchange

what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked." And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly]

disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing.

Rukku Rukku # # 7 7

Real Real believers believers have have nothing nothing to to fear fear or or to to regret regret

ني ـ بصلٱو ىرصنلٱو اوداه نيذلٱو اونماء نيذلٱ نإ

and the Sabians-

and theChristians became Jews and those who believed those who Indeed,

أ ب ر ص ص ن د و ه ىذلٱ ن م أ ىذلٱ

احلص لمعو رخاءلٱ مويلٱو ٱب نماء نم

righteous deeds, and did [the] Last and the Day in Allah believed who

ح ل ص ل م ع ر خ أ م و ه ي ل أ ن م أ

هلل فوخ الو مهبر دنع مهرجأ مهلف

on them fear and no their Lord (is) with their reward so for them

ف و خ ب ب ر د ن ع ر ج أ

will grieve. they and not

ن ز ح

Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will

there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

Rukku Rukku # # 7 7

Israelites Israelites covenant covenant with with Allah: Allah: 2:[63-64] 2:[63-64]

اوذخ روطلٱ مجلقوف انعفرو ثم مجلق انذخأ ذإو

"Hold the mount, over you and We raised your covenant We took And when

ذ خ أ ر و ط ق و ف ع ف ر ق ث و ذ خ أ ذإ

مجللعل هيف ام اوركذٱو ةوقب مجلنتاء آم

perhaps you (is) in it, what and remember with strength, We have givenyou what

ر ك ذ ي و ق ي ت أ

نوقتت

(would become) righteous."

ي ق و

And [recall] when We took your covenant, [O Children of Israel, to abide by the Torah] and We raised over you the mount, [saying], "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that perhaps you may become

righteous."

لضف الولف كلذ دعب نم متلوت مث

(for the) Grace So if not that. after from you turned away Then

ل ض ف د ع ب ي ل و

نيرسخلٱ نم متجلل ۥهتمحرو مجليل ٱ

the losers. of surely you wouldhave been and His Mercy, upon you (of) Allah

ر س خ ن و ك م ح ر ه ل أ

Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers.

Rukku Rukku # # 7 7

Punishment Punishment for for the the violation violation of of Sabbath Sabbath

تبسلٱ ىف مكنم اودتعٱ نيذلٱ متمل دقلو

the (matter of)Sabbath. in among you transgressed those who you knew And indeed,

ت ب س و د ع ىذلٱ م ل ع

ني ـ سخ ةدرق اونوك مهل انلقف

despised." apes, "Be to them, So We said

أ س خ د ر ن ق و ك ل و ق

And you had already known about those who transgressed among you concerning the sabbath, and We said to them, "Be apes, despised."

اهفلخ امو اهيدي نيب امل الن اهنلعجف

after them and those (of) them (in) front for those a deterrentpunishment So We made it

ف ل خ ي د ن ي ي ب ل ك ن ل ع ج

نيقتملل ةظعومو

for those who fear (Allah). and an admonition

ي ق و ظ ع و

And We made it a deterrent punishment for those who were present and those who succeeded [them] and a lesson for those who fear Allah.

Rukku Rukku # # 7 7

Their Their attitude attitude in in sacrificing sacrificing a a cow cow on on Allah's Allah's command command

مكرمأي ٱ نإ ۦهموقل وم لاق ذإو

commands you Allah "Indeed, to his people, Musa said And when

ر م أ ه ل أ م و ق ل و ق ذإ

لاق اوزه انذختتأ اولاق ةرقب اوحبذت نأ

He said, (in) ridicule." "Do you take us They said, a cow." you slaughter that

ل و ق أ ز ه ذ خ أ ل و ق ر ق ب ح ب ذ

نيلهجلٱ نم نوكأ نأ ٱب ذوعأ

the ignorant." among I be that in Allah "I seek refuge

ل ه ج ن و ك ه ل أ ذ و ع

And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you take us in ridicule?" He said, "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant."

ام انل نيبي كبر انل عدٱ اولاقwhat to us to make clear (to) your Lord for us "Pray They said,

ن ي ب ب ب ر و ع د ل و ق

ال ةرقب اهنإ لوقي ۥهنإ لاق not (is) a cow "[Indeed] it says, "Indeed, He He said, it (is)."

ر ق ب ل و ق ل و ق

اولعفٱف كلذ نيب ناوع ركب الو ضراف

so do that," between middle aged young, and not old

ل ع ف ن ي ب ن و ع ر ك ب ض ر ف

نورمؤت ام

you are commanded." what

ر م أ

They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is." [Moses] said, "[Allah] says, 'It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,' so do what you are commanded."

ءآرفص ةرقب اهنإ لوقي ۥهنإ لاق اهنول

yellow, a cow '[Indeed] it is says, "Indeed, He He said, (is) its color."

ر ف ص ر ق ب ل و ق ل و ق ن و ل

نيرظنلٱ رست اهنول عقاف

(to) those who see (it).'" pleasing (in) its color, bright

ر ظ ن ر ر س ن و ع ل ق ف

They said, "Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color." He said, "He says, 'It is a yellow cow, bright in color - pleasing to the observers.' "

نإ آنإو انل هبشت رقبلٱ نإ if And indeed we, to us. look alike [the] cows Indeed, it (is).

ه ب ش ر ق ب

نودتهمل ٱ ءحبش

(will) surely be those who are guided." Allah, wills

ي د ه ه ل أ أ ي ش

They said, "Call upon your Lord to make clear to us what it is. Indeed, [all] cows look alike to us. And indeed we, if Allah wills, will be guided."

لولذ ال ةرقب اهنإ لوقي ۥهنإ لاق

trained not (is) a cow "[Indeed] it says, "Indeed, He He said,

ل ل ذ ر ق ب ل و ق ل و ق

ال ةملسم ثرحلٱ ست الو ضرألٱ ريثت

no sound, the field; water and not the earth, to plough

م ل س ث ر ح ي ق س ض ر ر أ و ث

اهوحبذف قحلٱب تئج ـن لٱ اولاق اهيف ةيش

So theyslaughtered it, with the truth." you have come "Now They said, in it." blemish

ح ب ذ ق ق ح أ ي ل ج و ق ي ش و

نولعفي اودحب امو

(to) doing (it). they were near and not

ل ع ف د و ك

He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.' " They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it.

Rukku Rukku # # 8 8

Miracle Miracle of of bringing bringing the the dead dead body body back back to to life life and and their their reaction reaction to to the the miracle miracle

جرخم ٱو اهيف دٱف متر حبسفن متلتق ذإو

(is) the OneWho brought

forthbut Allah concerning it, then you

disputed a man, you killed And when

ج ر خ ه ل أ أ ر د س ف ن ل ت ق ذإ

نومتجلت متك ام

concealing. you were what

م ت ن ك و ك

And [recall] when you slew a man and disputed over it, but Allah was to bring out that which you were concealing.

وملٱ ٱ ي كلذك اهضعبب هوبرضٱ انلقف

the dead, Allah revives Like this with a part ofit." "Strike him So We said,

ت و م ه ل أ ي ي ح ض ع ب ب ر ض ل و ق

نولقعت مجللعل ۦهتياء مكيريو

use your intellect. perhaps you may His Signs, and shows you

ل ق ي ع ي ي أ أ ر

So, We said, "Strike the slain man with part of it." Thus does Allah bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason.

ف كلذ دعب نم مجلبولق تسق مث

so they that after from your hearts hardened Then

د ع ب ب ل ق و س ق

ةراجحلٱ نم نإو ةوسق دشأ وأ ةراجحلٱك

the stones from And indeed, (in) hardness. stronger or (became) like[the] stones

ر ج ح و س ق د د ش ر ج ح

امل اهنم نإو رهنألٱ هنم رجفتي امل

certainly (thereare some) which from them and indeed, [the] rivers, from it gush forth certainly (there

are some) which

ر ه ن ر ج ف

امل اهنم نإو ءآملٱ هنم جرخيف ققشي

certainly (thereare some) which from them and indeed, [the] water, from it so comes out split,

ه و ج م ر خ ق ق ش

لفغب ٱ امو ٱ ةيشخ نم طبهي

unaware (is) Allah And not (of) Allah. fear from fall down

ل ف غ ه ل أ ه ل أ ي ش خ ط ب ه

نولمعت امع

you do. of what

ل م ع

Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear

of Allah. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

Rukku Rukku # # 8 8

Jews Jews are are hopeless hopeless victims victims of of hypocrisy hypocrisy

قيرف نحب دقو مجلل اونمؤي نأ نوعمطتفأ

a party (there) has been while indeed [for] you they will believe that Do you hope

ق ر ف ن و ك ن م أ ع م ط

نم ۥهنوفرحي مث ٱ مل نوعمسي حمم

ف ر ح ه ل أ م ل ك ع م س

نوملعي مهو هولقع ام دعب

know? while they they understood it, [what] after

م ل ع ل ق د ع ع ب

Do you covet [the hope, O believers], that they would believe for you while a party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort the Torah after they had understood it while they were knowing?

اذإو انماء اولاق اونماء نيذلٱ اوقل اذإو

But when "We havebelieved." they say, believe[d], those who they meet And when

اذإ ن م أ ل و ق ن م أ ىذلٱ ي ق ل اذإ

امب مهنوثدحتأ اولاق ضعب ىلإ مهضعب الخ

what "Do you tellthem they say, some (others), with some of them meet in private

ث د ح ل و ق ض ع ب ىلإ ض ع ب و ل خ

مجلبر دنع ۦهب مكوجآحيل مجليل ٱ حتف

your Lord? before therewith so that theyargue with you to you Allah has

ب ب ر د ن ع ج ج ح ه ل أ ح ت ف

نولقعت الفأ

understand?" Then do (you) not

ل ق ع

And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We have believed"; but when they are alone with one another, they say, "Do you talk to them about what Allah has revealed to you so they can argue with you about it before your Lord?" Then will

you not reason?

نورسي ام ملعي ٱ نأ نوملعي الوأ

they conceal what knows Allah that they know Do not

ر ر س م ل ع ه ل أ م ل ع

نونلعي امو

they declare? and what

ن ل ع

But do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare?

ىنامأ آلإ بتجللٱ نوملعي ال نويمأ حممو

wishful thinking except the book know (who) do not (are) unletteredones,

And amongthem

ي ن م الإ ب ت ك م ل ع م م أ

نونظي الإ مه نإو

guess. (do anything) except they and not

ن ن ظ الإ

And among them are unlettered ones who do not know the Scripture except in wishful thinking, but they are only assuming.

they say, then, with their (own)hands the book write to those who So woe

ل و ق ي د ب ي ت ك ب ت ك ىذلٱ

انمث ۦهب اورتشيل ٱ دنع نم اذه

(for) a price with it to barter Allah," from (is) "This

ن م ث ي ر ش ه ل أ د ن ع

ليوو مهيديأ تبك امم مهل ليوف اليلق

and woe their hands have written for what to them So woe little.

نوبسجلي امم مهل

they earn. for what to them

ب س ك

So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah ," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn.

ةدودعم امايأ آلإ رانلٱ انسمت نل اولاقوnumbered." (for) days except the Fire will touch us "Never And they say,

فلخي ف ادهع ٱ دنع متذختأ لق

will break so never a covenant, Allah from "Have you taken Say,

ف ل خ د ه ع ه ل أ د ن ع ذ خ أ ل و ق

ام ٱ نولوقت مأ ۥهدهع ٱ

what Allah against (do) you say Or His Covenant? Allah

ه ل أ ل و ق مأ د ه ع ه ل أ

you know?" not

And they say, "Never will the Fire touch us, except for a few days." Say, "Have you taken a covenant with Allah ? For Allah will never break His covenant. Or do you say about Allah that which you do not know?"

ۥهت ـ يطخ ۦهب تطحأو س ةئ بسك نم ب

his sins - with and surroundedhim evil earned whoever Yes,

أ ط خ ط و ح أ و س ب س ك

نودلخ اهيف مه رانلٱ بحصأ لوأف كئ

(will) abide forever. in it they (of) the Fire; (are the)companions [so] those

د ل خ ر و ن ب ح ص

Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

ةنجلٱ بحصأ لوأ كئ تحلصلٱ اولمعو اونماء نيذلٱو

(of) Paradise; (are the)companions those righteous deeds, and did believed And those who

ن ن ج ب ح ص ح ل ص ل م ع ن م أ ىذلٱ

نودلخ اهيف مه

(will) abide forever. in it they

د ل خ

But they who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally.

نودبعت ال ليءرسإ ىنب ثم ق انذخأ ذإو

you will worship "Not (of) Israel, (from the)Children (the) covenant We took And when

د ب ع رسإ ي ن ب ق ث و ذ خ أ ذإ

تلٱو ىبرقلٱ ىذو انحبسحإ نيدلولٱبو ٱ الإ

and [the]orphans relatives and (with) (be) good and with [the]

parents Allah, except

م ت ب ي ر ق ن س ح د ل و ه ل أ الإ

اوتاءو ةولصلٱ اوميقأو انسح سانلل اولوقو نيكسملٱو

and give the prayer and establish good, to [the] people and speak and the needy,

ي ت أ و ل ص م و ق ن س ح س و ل ن و ق ن ك س

متنأو مكنم اليلق الإ متلوت مث ةوكزلٱ

and you (were) of you, a few except you turnedaway, Then the zakah."

And [recall] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], "Do not worship except Allah ; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and

give zakah." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.

الو مكءآمد نوكفست ال ثم مجلق انذخأ ذإو

and not your blood will you shed "Not your covenant, We took And when

و م ك د ف ق س ث و ذ خ أ ذإ

متنأو متررقأ مث مكريد نم مكسفنأ نوجرخت

while you you ratified then your homes," from yourselves (will) evict

ر ر ق ر و د س ف ن ج ر خ

(were) witnessing.

And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], "Do not shed each other's blood or evict one another from your homes." Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing.

اقيرف نوجرختو مكسفنأ نولتقت ءآلؤه متنأ مث

a party and evict yourselves (who) kill (are) those you Then

ق ر ف ج ر خ س ف ن ل ت ق

نودعلٱو مثإلٱب هلل نورهظت مهريد نم مكنم

and [the]transgression. in sin against them you support one

another their homes, from of you

و د ع م ث أ ر ه ظ ر و د

مجليل مرحم وهو مهودفت ىرسأ مكوتأي نإو

to you (was) forbidden while it you ransomthem, (as) captives, they come to

you And if

م ر ح ي د ف ر س أ ي ت أ

امف ضعبب نورفجلتو بتجللٱ ضعبب نونمؤتفأ مهجارخإ

Then what in part? and disbelieve the Book in part (of) So do youbelieve their eviction.

ض ع ب ر ف ك ب ت ك ض ع ب ن م أ ج ر خ

ىزخ الإ مكنم كلذ لعفي نم ءآزج

disgrace except among you, that does (for the one)who

(should be the)recompense

ي ز خ الإ ل ع ف ي ز ج

ىلإ نودري ةميقلٱ مويو ايندلٱ ةويحلٱ ىف

to they will be sentback

of [the]Resurrection

and (on the)Day (of) the world; the life in

ىلإ د د ر م و ق م و و ي ن د ي ي ح

نولمعت امع لفغب ٱ امو باذعلٱ دشأ

you do. of what unaware (is) Allah And not punishment? (the) mostsevere

ل م ع ل ف غ ه ل أ ب ذ ع د د ش

Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those

who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

الف ةرخاءلٱب ايندلٱ ةويحلٱ اورتشٱ نيذلٱ لوأ كئ

so not for theHereafter; (of) the world the life bought (are) the ones

who Those

ر خ أ و ن د ي ي ح ي ر ش ىذلٱ

نورصني مه الو باذعلٱ حمع ففخي

will be helped. they and not the punishment for them will be lightened

ر ص ن ب ذ ع ف ف خ

Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

Advent Advent of of the the Prophet Prophet Isa Isa (Jesus) (Jesus)

ۦهدعب نم انفقو بتجللٱ وم انتاء دقلو

after him from and We followedup the Book Musa We gave And indeed

د ع ب و ف ق ب ت ك ي ت أ

هنديأو بلٱ تن ميرم نبٱ انتاءو لسرلٱب

and Wesupported him [the] clear signs (of) Maryam, (the) son Isa, And We gave with [the]

Messengers.

د ي أ ن ي ب ي ن ب ي ت أ ل س ر

ال امب لوسر مكءآج املفأ سدقلٱ حورب

(does) not with what a Messenger came to you Is it (not) so(that) whenever the Holy Spirit. (with)

ل س ر أ ي ل ج ل ك س د ق ح و ر

نولتقت اقيرفو متبذك اقيرفف متربجلتسٱ مكسفنأ ىوهت

you kill(ed). and a party you denied, So a party you actedarrogantly? yourselves, desire

ل ت ق ق ر ف ب ذ ك ق ر ف ر ب ك س ف ن ي و ه

And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of

Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed.

مهرفكب ٱ حمعل لب فل انبولق اولاقوfor theirdisbelief; Allah has cursed them Nay, (are) wrapped." "Our hearts And they said,

ر ف ك ه ل أ ن ع ل ف ل ب غ ل ق ل و ق

نونمؤي ام اليلقف

they believe. (is) what so little

ن م أ ل ل ق

And they said, "Our hearts are wrapped." But, [in fact], Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so little is it that they believe.

قدصم ٱ دنع نم بتك مهءآج املو

confirming Allah from of a Book came to them And when

ق د ص ه ل أ د ن ع ب ت ك أ ي ج

نوحتفتسي لبق نم اونحبو مهعم امل

used to with them, what (was)

ح ت ف ل ب ق ن و ك

اورفك اوفرع ام مهءآج املف اورفك نيذلٱ

they disbelieved they recognized, what came to them then when disbelieved - those who

ر ف ك ف ر ع أ ي ر ج ف ك ىذلٱ

نيرفجللٱ ٱ ةنعلف ۦهب

the disbelievers. (is) on (of) Allah So (the) curse in it.

ر ف ك ه ل أ ن ع ل

And when there came to them a Book from Allah confirming that which was with them - although before they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved - but [then] when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it;

so the curse of Allah will be upon the disbelievers.

آمب اورفجلي نأ مهسفنأ ۦهب اورتشٱ امسب

in what they disbelieve that themselves, with (for) which theyhave sold Evil (is) that

ر ف ك س ف ن ي ر ش س أ ب

نم ٱ لي نأ ايغب ٱ لزنأ

of Allah sends down that grudging Allah, has revealed

ه ل أ ل ز ن ي غ ب ه ل أ ل ز ن

وءآبف ۦهدابع نم ءحبشي نم ۦهلضف

So they havedrawn (on

themselves)His servants. from He wills whom on His Grace

أ و ب د ب ع أ ي ش ل ض ف

نيهم باذ نيرفجلللو بضغ بضغب

humiliating. (is) a punishment And for thedisbelievers wrath. upon wrath

ن و ه ب ذ ع ر ف ك ب ض غ ب ض غ

How wretched is that for which they sold themselves - that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through [their] outrage that Allah would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants. So they returned having

[earned] wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

ٱ لزنأ آمب اونماء مهل ليق اذإو

if before, from (of) Allah (the) Prophets (did) you kill "Then why

ل ب ق ه ل أ أ ب ن ل ت ق

believers?" you were

ن م أ ن و ك

And when it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah has revealed," they say, "We believe [only] in what was revealed to us." And they disbelieve in what came after it, while it is the truth confirming that which is with them. Say, "Then why did you kill

the prophets of Allah before, if you are [indeed] believers?"

لجعلٱ متذختٱ مث بلٱب تن وم مكءآج دقلو

the calf you took then with [the] clearsigns, Musa came to you And indeed

ل ج ع ذ خ أ ن ي ب أ ي ج

نوملظ متنأو ۦهدعب نم

(were) wrongdoers. and you after him from

م ل ظ د ع ب

And Moses had certainly brought you clear proofs. Then you took the calf [in worship] after that, while you were wrongdoers.

اوذخ روطلٱ مجلقوف انعفرو ثم مجلق انذخأ ذإو

"Hold the mount, over you and We raised your covenant We took And when

انصعو انعمس اولاق اوعمسٱو ةوقب مجلنتاء آم

and wedisobeyed." "We heard They said, and listen." with firmness We gave you, what

ي ص ع ع م س ل و ق ع م س ي و ق ي ت أ

امسب لق مهرفكب لجعلٱ مهبولق ىف اوبرشأو

"Evil (is) that Say, because of theirdisbelief. (love of) the calf their hearts in And they were

made to drink

س أ ب ل و ق ر ف ك ل ج ع ب ل ق ب ر ش

نينمؤم متك نإ مجلنميإ ۦهب مكرمأي

believers." you are if your faith, with orders you (to do) it

ن م أ ن و ك ن م أ ر م أ

And [recall] when We took your covenant and raised over you the mount, [saying], "Take what We have given you with determination and listen." They said [instead], "We hear and disobey." And their hearts absorbed [the worship of] the calf

because of their disbelief. Say, "How wretched is that which your faith enjoins upon you, if you should be believers."

Say, [O Muhammad], "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is for you alone and not the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful.

ٱو مهيديأ تمدق امب ادبأ هونمتي نلو

And Allah their hands. (of what) sentahead because ever, they wish for it, And never (will)

ه ل أ ي د م ي د ق د ب ي أ ن م

نيملظلٱب ميل

of the wrongdoers. (is) All-Knower

م ل ظ م ل ع

But they will never wish for it, ever, because of what their hands have put forth. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers.

نيذلٱ نمو ةويح سانلٱ صرحأ مهندجتلو

those who and (greedier)than life, for (of) [the]

mankind(the) most

greedyAnd surely youwill find them

ىذلٱ ي ي ح س و ص ن ر ح د ج و

ةنس فلأ رمعي ول مهدحأ دوي اوكرشأ

year(s). (of) a thousand he could begranted a life if (each) one of

them Lovesassociate[d]

partners (withAllah).

و ن س ف ل أ ر م ع د ح أ د د و ك ر ش

رمعي نأ باذعلٱ نم ۦهحزحزمب وه امو

he should begranted life. that the punishment from (will) remove

him it But not

ر م ع ب ذ ع ح ز ح ز

نولمعي امب ريصب ٱو

they do. of what (is) All-Seer And Allah

ل م ع ر ص ب ه ل أ

And you will surely find them the most greedy of people for life - [even] more than those who associate others with Allah. One of them wishes that he could be granted life a thousand years, but it would not remove him in the least from the [coming]

punishment that he should be granted life. And Allah is Seeing of what they do.

ۥهلزن ۥهنإف ليربجل اود نحب نم لق

brought it down then indeed he to Jibreel - an enemy is "Whoever Say,

ل ز ن و د ع ن و ك ل و ق

نيب امل اقدصم ٱ نذإب كبلق

(was) what confirming (of) Allah by (the)permission your heart on

ن ي ب ق د ص ه ل أ ن ذ أ ب ل ق

نينمؤملل ىرشبو ىدهو هيدي

for the believers." and glad tiding(s) and a guidance before it

ن م أ ر ش ب ي د ه ي د ي

Say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers."

ليربجو ۦهلسرو لمو ۦهتكئ اود نحب نم

and Jibreel, and HisMessengers, and His Angels, (to) Allah an enemy is Whoever

ل س ر ك ل م ه ل أ و د ع ن و ك

نيرفجللل ود ٱ نإف لكيمو

to the disbelievers. (is) an enemy Allah then indeed and Meekael,

ر ف ك و د ع ه ل أ

Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers.

Their Their faithlessness faithlessness

رفجلي امو ب تن تياء كيلإ آنلزنأ دقلو

disbelieves and not clear, Verses to you We revealed And indeed

ر ف ك ن ي ب ي ي ىلإ أ ل ز ن

نوقسفلٱ الإ آهب

the defiantly disobedient. except in them

ق س ف الإ

And We have certainly revealed to you verses [which are] clear proofs, and no one would deny them except the defiantly disobedient.

لب حمم قيرف ۥهذبن ادهع اودهع املوأ

Nay, of them? a party threw it away a covenant, they took And is (it notthat) whenever

ق ر ف ذ ب ن د ه ع د ه ع ل ل ك

نونمؤي ال مهرثكأ

believe. (do) not most of them

ن م أ ر ث ك

Is it not [true] that every time they took a covenant a party of them threw it away? But, [in fact], most of them do not believe.

قدصم ٱ دنع نم لوسر مهءآج املو

نميلس كلم نيطيشلٱ اولتت ام اوعبتٱو

(of) Sulaiman. (the) kingdom over the devils recite(d) what And theyfollowed

ك ل م ن ط و ش ل ت ع ب ت

لعي نوم اورفك نيطيشلٱ لو نجل نميلس رفك امو

they teach disbelieved, the devils [and] but Sulaiman disbelieved And not

م ل ع ر ف ك ن ط ر ش ف ك

لبابب نيجللملٱ لزنأ آمو رحسلٱ سانلٱ

in Babylon, the two angels to was sent down and what [the] magic the people

ك ل م ل ز ن ر ح س س و ن

ىتح دحأ نم لعي نام امو تورمو توره

unless one any they both teach And not and Marut. Harut

د ح أ م ل ع

نوملعتف رفجلت الف ةنف نحن امنإ آلوقي

But they learn disbelieve." so (do) not (are) a trial, we "Only they [both] say,

م ل ع ر ف ك ن ت ف ل و ق

ۦهجوزو ءرملٱ نيب ۦهب نوقرفي ام امهنم

and his spouse. the man between with it [they] causesseparation what from those two

ج و ز أ ر م ن ي ب ق ر ف

الإ دحأ نم ۦهب نيرآضب مه امو

except one any with it at all [be thosewho] harm they (could) And not

الإ د ح أ ر ر ض

مهعفني الو مهرضي ام نوملعتيو ٱ نذإب

profits them. and not harms them what And they learn (of) Allah. by permission

ع ف ن ر ر ض م ل ع ه ل أ ن ذ أ

ىف ۥهل ام هرتشٱ نمل اومل دقلو

in for him not buys it, that whoever they knew And indeed

ي ر ش م ل ع

ۦهب اورش ام سبلو قلخ نم ةرخاءلٱ

with it they sold (is) what And surely evil share. any the Hereafter

ي ر ش س أ ب ق ل خ ر خ أ

نوملعي اونحب ول مهسفنأ

(to) know. they were if themselves,

م ل ع ن و ك س ف ن

And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut.

But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it

except by permission of Allah. And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which

they sold themselves, if they only knew.

دنع نم ةبوثمل اوقتٱو اونماء مهنأ ولو

from (of) surely (the)reward

and feared(Allah), (had) believed [that] they And if

د ن ع ب و ث ي ق و ن م أ

نوملعي اونحب ول ريخ ٱ

(to) know. they were if (would have been)better, Allah

م ل ع ن و ك ر ي خ ه ل أ

And if they had believed and feared Allah , then the reward from Allah would have been [far] better, if they only knew.

اولوقو انعر اولوقت ال اونماء نيذلٱ اهيأي

O you who have believed, say not [to Allah 's Messenger], "Ra'ina" but say, "Unthurna" and listen. And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment.

بتجللٱ لهأ نم اورفك نيذلٱ دوي ام

(of) the Book (the) People from disbelieve those who like (Do) not

ب ت ك ل ه ر أ ف ك ىذلٱ د د و

ريخ نم مجليل لي نأ نيكرشملٱ الو

good any to you (there should)be sent down that

those whoassociate

partners (withAllah),

and not

ر ي خ ل ز ن ك ر ش

ءحبشي نم ۦهتمحرب صتخي ٱو مجلبر نم

He wills. whom for His Mercy chooses And Allah your Lord. from

أ ي ش م ح ر ص ص خ ه ل أ ب ب ر

ميظعلٱ لضفلٱ وذ ٱو

[the] Great. (of) [the] Bounty (is the) Possessor And Allah

م ظ ع ل ض ف ه ل أ

Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.

تأن اهسن وأ ةياء نم خسن ام

We bring [We] cause it tobe forgotten, or a sign (of) We abrogate What

نأ ملعت ملأ آهلثم وأ آهنم ريخب

م ل ع ل ث م ر ي خ

ريدق ء ل ٱ

(is) All-Powerful? thing every over Allah

We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?

تومسلٱ كلم ۥهل ٱ نأ ملعت ملأ

(of) the heavens (is the) Kingdom for Him Allah that, you know Do not

و م س ك ل م ه ل أ م ل ع

نم ٱ نود نم مجلل امو ضرألٱو

any Allah besides from (is) for you And not and the earth?

ه ل أ ن و ض د ر أ

ريصن الو ىلو any helper. and not protector

ر ص ن ي ل و

Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and [that] you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper?

Questioning Questioning the the Prophet Prophet

لئس امك مجللوسر اول ـ ست نأ نوديرت مأ

was asked as your Messenger you ask that (do) you wish Or

ل أ س ل س ر ل أ س د و ر مأ

نميإلٱب رفجللٱ لدبي نمو لبق نم وم

with [the] faith, [the] disbelief exchanges And whoever before? from Musa

ن م أ ر ف ك ل د ب ل ب ق

ليسلٱ ءآوس لض دقف

(of) the way. (the) evenness he went astray (from) so certainly

ل ب ي س و س ل ل ض

Or do you intend to ask your Messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.

مجلنودري ول بتجللٱ لهأ نم ريثك دو

they could turnyou back if (of) the Book (the) People from many Wish[ed]

د د ر ب ت ك ل ه ر أ ث ك د د و

دنع نم ادسح ارافك مكنميإ دعب نم

(of) from (out of) jealousy (to)disbelievers,

your (having)faith after from

د ن ع د س ح ر ف ك ن م أ د ع ب

قحلٱ مهل نيبت ام دعب نم مهسفنأ

the truth. to them, became clear [what] after (even) from themselves,

ق ق ح ن ي ب د ع ب س ف ن

نإ ۦهرمأب ٱ أي ىتح اوحفصٱو اوفعٱفIndeed, His Command. Allah brings until and overlook So forgive

ر م أ ه ل أ ي ت أ ح ف ص و ف ع

ريدق ء ل ٱ

(is) All-Powerful. thing every on Allah

ر د ق أ ي ش ل ل ك ه ل أ

Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves [even] after the truth has become clear to them. So pardon and overlook until Allah delivers His command. Indeed,

Allah is over all things competent.

مكسفنأل اومدقت امو ةوكزلٱ اوتاءو ةولصلٱ اوميقأوfor yourselves you send forth And whatever [the] zakah. and give the prayer And establish

ٱ نإ ٱ دنع هودجت ريخ نم

Allah Indeed, Allah. with you will find it good (deeds), of

ه ل أ ه ل أ د ن ع د ج و ر ي خ

ريصب نولمعت امب

(is) All-Seer. you do of what

ر ص ب ل م ع

And establish prayer and give zakah, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves - you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah of what you do, is Seeing.

Verses Verses 111 111 → 112 112

نحب نم الإ ةنجلٱ لخدي نل اولاقوis who except the Paradise will enter "Never And they said,

اوتاه لق هلنامأ كلت ىرصن وأ ادوه

"Bring Say, (is) their wishfulthinking. That (a) Christian[s]." or (a) Jew[s]

ت أ ل ه و ق ي ن م ر ص ن د و ه

نيقدص متك نإ مجلنهرب

[those who are] truthful." you are if your proof

ق د ص ن و ك ه ر ب

And they say, "None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is [merely] their wishful thinking, Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful."

نسحم وهو ۥههجو ملسأ نم ب

(is) a good-doer, and he to Allah his face submits whoever Yes,

ن س ح ه ل أ ه ج و م ل س

هلل فوخ الو ۦهبر دنع ۥهرجأ ۥهلف

(will be) onthem fear And no his Lord. with (is) his reward so for him

ف و خ ب ب ر د ن ع ر ج أ

(will) grieve. they and not

ن ز ح

Yes [on the contrary], whoever submits his face in Islam to Allah while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

The Jews say "The Christians have nothing [true] to stand on," and the Christians say, "The Jews have nothing to stand on," although they [both] recite the Scripture. Thus the polytheists speak the same as their words. But Allah will judge between

them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that over which they used to differ.

نأ ٱ دجسم عنم نمم ملظأ نمو

لوأ كئ آهبارخ ىف سو ۥهمسٱ اهيف ركذي

Those! theirdestruction? for and strives His name, in them be mentioned

ب ر خ ي ع س و م س ر ك ذ

نيفئآخ الإ آهولخدي نأ مهل نحب ام

(like) those infear. except they enter them that for them it is Not

ف و خ الإ ل خ د ن و ك

ةرخاءلٱ ىف مهلو ىزخ ايندلٱ ىف مهل

the Hereafter in and for them (is) disgrace the world in For them

ر خ أ ي ز خ و ن د

ميظع باذ

great. (is) a punishment

م ظ ع ب ذ ع

And who are more unjust than those who prevent the name of Allah from being mentioned in His mosques and strive toward their destruction. It is not for them to enter them except in fear. For them in this world is disgrace, and they will have in the

Hereafter a great punishment.

All All directions directions belong belong to to Allah Allah

هجو مثف اولوت امنيأف برغملٱو قرشملٱ و

(is the) face [so] there you turn so wherever and the west, (is) the east And for Allah

ه ج و ي ل و ب ر غ ق ر ش ه ل أ

ميل عسو ٱ نإ ٱ

All-Knowing. (is) All-Encompassing, Allah Indeed, (of) Allah.

م ل ع ع س و ه ل أ ه ل أ

And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah. Indeed, Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

نوجليف نك ۥهل لوقي

Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

ـل ست الو اريذنو اريشب قحلٱب كنلسرأ آنإ

you will beasked And not and (as) a

warner.(as) a bearer of

good news with the truth, [We] have sentyou Indeed We!

ل أ س ر ذ ن ر ش ب ق ق ح ل س ر

ميحجلٱ بحصأ نع

(of) the blazing Fire. (the) companions about

م ح ب ج ح ص

Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muhammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be asked about the companions of Hellfire.

Verses Verses 120 120 → 121 121

ىتح ىرصنلٱ الو دوهيلٱ كنع رت نلو

until the Christians and [not] the Jews with you will be pleased And never

ر ص ن و ض ر

وه ٱ ىده نإ لق جملم عبت

it (of) Allah, (the) Guidance "Indeed, Say, their religion. you follow

ه ل أ ي د ه ل و ق ل ل م ع ب ت

كءآج ىذلٱ دعب مهءآوهأ تعبتٱ نئلو ىدهلٱ

has come to you what after their desires you follow And if (is) theGuidance."

أ ي ىذلٱ ج د ع ب ي و ه ع ب ت ي د ه

نم ٱ نم كل ام ملعلٱ نم

any Allah from for you not the knowledge, of

ه ل أ م ل ع

ريصن الو ىلو any helper. and not protector

ر ص ن ي ل و

And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against

Allah no protector or helper.

لوأ كئ ۦهتوالت قح ۥهنولتي بتجللٱ حمتاء نيذلٱ

Those (people) (of) itsrecitation.

(as it has the)right recite it the Book We have given

them Those,

و ل ت ق ق ح و ل ت ب ت ك ي ت أ ىذلٱ

مه لوأف كئ ۦهب رفجلي نمو ۦهب نونمؤي

they then those, in it, disbelieves And whoever in it. believe

ر ف ك ن م أ

نورسخلٱ

(are) the losers.

ر س خ

Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones who] believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it - it is they who are the losers.

Verses Verses 122 122 → 123 123

نيملعلٱ مجلتلضف ىنأو

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.

سفن نع سفن ىزجت ال اموي اوقتٱو(another) soul (of) a soul will avail not a day And fear

س ف ن س ف ن ي ز ج م و ي ي ق و

اهعفنت الو لد اهنم لبقي الو ـا يش

will benefit it and not anycompensation, from it will be accepted and not anything

ع ف ن ل د ع ل ب ق أ ي ش

نورصني مه الو ةعفش

will be helped. they and not any intercession,

ر ص ن ع ف ش

And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, and no compensation will be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be aided.

نيملظلٱ ىدهع لاني ال لاق

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [Allah] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allah] said, "My covenant does

not include the wrongdoers."

اوذختٱو انمأو سانلل ةباثم تيلٱ انلعج ذإو

And [mention] when We made the House a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for

those who perform Tawaf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]."

ادلب اذه لعجٱ بر ۦمهربإ لاق ذإو

a city this make "My Lord Ibrahim, said And when

د ل ب ل ع ج ب ب ر ربإ ل و ق ذإ

نماء نم ترمثلٱ نم ۥهلهأ قزرٱو انماء

believed (to) whoever fruits, with its people and provide secure

ن م أ ر م ث ل ه ق أ ز ر ن م أ

رفك نمو لاق رخاءلٱ مويلٱو ٱب حمم

disbelieved, "And whoever He said, the Last," and the Day in Allah from them

ر ف ك ل و ق ر خ أ م و ه ي ل أ

رانلٱ باذ ىلإ ۥهرطضأ مث اليلق ۥهعتمأف

(of) the Fire, (the)punishment to I will force him then a little;

[then] I willgrant himenjoyment

ر و ن ب ذ ع ىلإ ر ر ض ل ل ق ع ت م

ريصملٱ سبو

(is) the destination. and evil

ر ي ص س أ ب

And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day." [Allah] said. "And whoever disbelieves - I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will

force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination."

Verses Verses 127 127 → 129 129

ليعمسإو تيلٱ نم داوقلٱ ۦمهربإ عفري ذإو

and Ishmael, the House of the foundations Ibrahim (was) raising And when

مسإ ت ي ب د ع ق ربإ ع ف ر ذإ

ميلعلٱ عيمسلٱ تنأ كنإ آنم لبقت انبر

the All-Knowing. the All-Hearing, [You] (are) Indeed You! from us. Accept (saying), "OurLord!

م ل ع ع م س ل ب ق ب ب ر

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.

ةمأ آنيرذ نمو كل نيملسم انلعجٱو انبر

a community our offspring And from to You. both submissive [and] Make us Our Lord!

م م أ ر ر ذ م ل س ل ع ج ب ب ر

كنإ آنل بتو انكسانم انرأو كل ةملسم

Indeed You! to us. and turn our ways ofworship And show us to You. submissive

ب و ت ك س ن ي أ ر م ل س

ميحرلٱ باوتلٱ تنأ

the Most Merciful. the Oft-returning, [You] (are)

م ح ر ب و ت

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

هلل اولتي حمم الوسر هلف ثعبٱو انبر

to them (who) will recite from them a Messenger in them [And] raise up Our Lord!

و ل ت ل س ر ث ع ب ب ب ر

تنأ كنإ هلكزيو ةمكحلٱو بتجللٱ لعيو مهم كتياء

You (are) Indeed You! and purify them. and the wisdom the Book and will teachthem Your Verses

و ك ز م ك ح ب ت ك م ل ع ي ي أ

ميكحلٱ زيزعلٱ

the All-Wise." the All-Mighty

م ك ح ز ز ع

Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

Verses Verses 130 130 → 132 132

نم الإ ۦمهربإ ةلم نع بغري نمو

who except (of) Ibrahim (the) religion from will turn away And who

الإ ربإ ل ل م ب غ ر

ۥهنإو ايندلٱ ىف هنفطصٱ دقلو ۥهسفن هفس

and indeed he, the world, in We chose him And indeed himself? fooled

و ن د و ف ص س ف ن ه ف س

نيحلصلٱ نمل ةرخاءلٱ ىف

the righteous. surely (will be) among the Hereafter in,

ح ل ص ر خ أ

And who would be averse to the religion of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.

تملسأ لاق ملسأ ۥهبر ۥهل لاق ذإ

"I (have)submitted(myself)

he said, "Submit(yourself)," his Lord to him said When

م ل س ل و ق م ل س ب ب ر ل و ق ذإ

نيملعلٱ برل

(of) the worlds." to (the) Lord

م ل ع ب ب ر

When his Lord said to him, "Submit", he said "I have submitted [in Islam] to the Lord of the worlds."

نإ ىني بوقعيو هيب ۦمهربإ آهب وو

Indeed, "O my sons! and Yaqub, (upon) his sons Ibrahim [it] And enjoined

ي ن ب ي ن ب ربإ ي ص و

الإ نتومت الف نيدلٱ مجلل طصٱ ٱ

except (should) you die so not the religion, for you has chosen Allah

الإ ت و م ن ي د و ف ص ه ل أ

نوملسم متنأو

(are) submissive." while you

م ل س

And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims."

توملٱ بوقعي رضح ذإ ءآدهش متك مأ

[the] death, Yaqub came to when witnesses were you Or

ت و م ر ض ح ذإ د ه ش ن و ك مأ

ىدعب نم نودبعت ام هيبل لاق ذإ

ليعمسإو ۦمهربإ كئآباء لإو ه لإ كه دبعن اولاق

and Ishmael Ibrahim (of) yourforefathers, and (the) God your God "We will worship They said,

مسإ ربإ و ب أ ه ل أ ه ل أ د ب ع ل و ق

نوملسم ۥهل نحنو ادحو لإ اه قحسإو

(are) submissive." to Him And we One. God and Isaac -

م ل س د ح و ه ل أ حسإ

Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in

submission] to Him."

That was a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.

لق اودتهت ىرصن وأ ادوه اونوك اولاقو

Say, (then) you willbe guided." Christians, or Jews "Be And they said,

ل و ق ي د ه ر ص ن د و ه ن و ك ل و ق

نم نحب امو افيح ۦمهربإ ةلم لب

of he was and not (the) upright; (of) Ibrahim, (the) religion "Nay,

ن و ك ف ن ربإ ح ل ل م

نيكرشملٱ

those who associated partners (with Allah)."

They say, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists."

Verses Verses 136 136 → 137 137

آمو انلإ لزنأ آمو ٱب انماء اولوق

and what to us (is) revealed and what in Allah "We havebelieved Say,

ىلإ ل ز ن ه ل أ ن م أ ل و ق

طابسألٱو بوقعيو قحسإو ليعمسإو ۦمهربإ ىلإ لزنأ

and thedescendants, and Yaqub and Isaac and Ishmael Ibrahim to was revealed

ط ب حسإ س مسإ ربإ ىلإ ل ز ن

نوينلٱ وأ آمو و وم وأ آمو

(to) theProphets was given and what and Isa (to) Musa was given and what

أ ب ن ي ت أ ي ت أ

حمم دحأ نيب قرفن ال مهبر نم

of them. any between we makedistinction Not their Lord. from

د ح أ ن ي ب ق ر ف ب ب ر

نوملسم ۥهل نحنو

(are) submissive." to Him And we

م ل س

Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets

from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

دقف ۦهب متماء آم لثمب اونماء نإف

then indeed, in [it], you havebelieved (of) what in (the) like they believe[d] So if

ن م أ ل ث م ن م أ

قاقش ىف مه امنإف اولوت نإو اودتهٱ

dissension. (are) in they then only they turn away, But if they are(rightly) guided.

ق ق ش ي ل و ي د ه

ميلعلٱ عيمسلٱ وهو ٱ مهكيفجليسف

the All-Knowing. (is) the All-Hearing, and He Allah, So will suffice youagainst them

م ل ع ع م س ه ل أ ي ف ك

So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

Baptism Baptism is is from from Allah Allah

ةغبص ٱ نم نسحأ نمو ٱ ةغبص

at coloring? Allah than (is) better And who (of) Allah! (The) color(religion)

غ ب ص ه ل أ ن س ح ه ل أ غ ب ص

نودبع ۥهل نحنو

(are) worshippers. to Him And we

د ب ع

[And say, "Ours is] the religion of Allah. And who is better than Allah in [ordaining] religion? And we are worshippers of Him."

Verses Verses 139 139 → 141 141

مجلبرو انبر وهو ٱ ىف اننوجآحتأ لق

and your Lord? (is) our Lord while He Allah about "Do you arguewith us Say,

ب ب ر ب ب ر ه ل أ ج ج ح ل و ق

نوصلخم ۥهل نحنو مجللمعأ مجللو انلمعأ آنلو

(are) sincere. to Him and we (are) your deeds and for you (are) our deeds And for us

ص ل خ ل م ع ل م ع

Say, [O Muhammad], "Do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him."

بوقعيو قحسإو ليعمسإو ۦمهربإ نإ نولوقت مأ

and Yaqub and Isaac and Ishmael Ibrahim that (do) you say Or

حسإ مسإ ربإ ل و ق مأ

متنأء لق ىرصن وأ ادوه اونحب طابسألٱو

"Are you Say, Christians?" or Jews were and thedescendants

ل و ق ر ص ن د و ه ن و ك ط ب س

متك نمم ملظأ نمو ٱ مأ ملأ

concealed than (the one)who (is) more unjust And who (is) Allah?" or better knowing

م ت م ك ل ظ ه ل أ مأ م ل ع

لفغب ٱ امو ٱ نم ۥهدنع ةدهش

unaware (is) Allah And not Allah? from (that) he has a testimony

ل ف غ ه ل أ ه ل أ د ن ع د ه ش

نولمعت امع

you do. of what

ل م ع

Or do you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing or is Allah ?" And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony he has from Allah ? And Allah is not

unaware of what you do.

تبسك ام اهل تلخ دق ةمأ كلت

it earned what for it has passedaway, (which) (was) a

community This

ب س ك و ل خ م م أ

اونحب امع نول ـ ست الو متسك ام مجللو

they used to about what you will beasked And not you have

earned. what and for you

That is a nation which has passed on. It will have [the consequence of] what it earned, and you will have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.
