Robbery Suspect Apprehended

On September 3, 2014 the Payless Shoe Source, Inc., 531 E. Main St, was robbed. Detectives from the Chillicothe Police Department quickly identified Randy Pollock as a suspect in this robbery and a warrant was obtained, through the Chillicothe Municipal Court, for his arrest. The Chillicothe Police Department received information that Randy Pollock was staying in tent in the area of Copperas Mountain in Ross County. On September 8, 2014 Detectives from the Chillicothe Police Department found a freshly used campsite in the area where Pollock was supposed to be staying. With the assistance of the Chillicothe Police Department K-9, Dixie, Pollock was located and apprehended without incident. The Chillicothe Police Department would also like to thank the Ross County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in the apprehension of Pollock.
