Romans 12:2

• Metamorphousthe is present passive imperative of metamorhoo that means “to change into another form…to transfigure, transform” and in this context, “the change of moral character for the better” (Thayer 405).

• This transformation is to characterize Christians through their lives in the world in which they live. Their citizenship is in heaven, and their behavior should agree with their citizenship (cf.
