Fire Drill1. When you hear the alarm go out the

door, down the closest steps and out to the end of the schoolyard.

2. Move quickly, but silently.3. Listen to adults.4. Stay silent on the way back inside.

Tornado Drill1. Listen to the announcement.2. We may go under the tables.3. We may go to the basement near

the kindergarten.4. Listen to all directions.5. Be SILENT.

When you sign that form, you make a promise.

You promise to follow all the rules on the sheet.

If you don’t return the signed AUP by September 8, you may NOT use the computers in the lab or in your homeroom.

You may take A.R. tests in the lab or in your classroom this year. See me after school for incentives.

GradingYou receive five points per class for participation,

effort and time on task.

Other assignments are given a point value depending upon the time involved and difficulty of the task.

Both of these sets of numbers are averaged for you grade.

Touch typing scores will be included in the grade for fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades.

Sixty minutes a quarter is a minimum.

All computer ASSIGNMENTS must

be done in the computer room.

Assignments done at home will not be accepted but doing research for

assignments is encouraged.
