Mr.FeingoldservedastheoverallProjectOfficerforalong‐termassignmentwithDetroitEdisonCompany,MichiganConsolidatedGasCompany(MCN)andtheFederalTradeCommission(FTC)inconjunctionwithDetroitEdison’sacquisitionofMCN.Specifically,heservedastheAuditorofa20‐yearEasementAgreement(forgasdistributionassets)betweenMCNandExelonEnergytoimplementacompetitiveremedyrequiredbytheFTC,asapre‐conditionofthemerger,pertainingtothesupplyofnaturalgastoanyelectricdisplacementloadsinthemergedutilityserviceterritories.
Mr.FeingoldservedasProjectManagerinprovidingassistancetoanEasternutilityholdingcorporationduringitsproposedacquisitionofanEasterngasandwaterutility.Hisresponsibilitiesincludedtheidentificationofthepotentialsavingsthatwouldresultfromtheacquisition,thedevelopmentofaninter‐jurisdictionalgascostallocationmethodologyandrelatedassistancedealingwithobtainingthenecessaryregulatoryapprovaloftheacquisition.
