TRANS-SIBERIAN LANDBRIDGE: DOCUMENTS FOR TRANSIT
The set of commercial documents required for TRANSIT containers from Japan to Europe is quite simple and is to provided in English language.Shipper / customer is provided with MEMO or SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), which describes the basic process of transportation and clarifies which documents are requested and when.
List of documents required for transit via TSLB to Europe for non-DG cargo:1. Commercial invoice in English language2. Packing list in English language3. Specification (if necessary) in English language4. Certificates (if necessary) in English language
TRANS-SIBERIAN LANDBRIDGE: DANGEROUS CARGO
Russian Far East ports (Vladivostok,Vostochny) are handling almost all DGclasses, subject to DG acceptance, properloading/lashing of DG cargo in thecontainer.
Basic requirements for DG loading / lashing in the container:- uniform distribution of cargo weight inside the container;- compliance with the center of gravity when placing dangerous goods inside the container;- dangerous goods must be formed into transport packages, placed on wooden pallets or on pallets;- transport packages must be firmly fastened by binding, shrink wrap or other means that prevent the displacement of cargo units inside the package during transportation;- to avoid damage to the inner lining of the container and packages of dangerous goods, it is necessary to use separation (cardboard or plywood) between the walls of the container and between the transport packages;- loading of dangerous cargo must be carried out to the full capacity of the container, excluding the displacement of cargo units inside the package during transportation, the unloaded space must be fixed with special fixing material-wooden pallets, bars, plywood, air bags;- the packaging of dangerous goods must contain the marking of dangerous goods in accordance with MSDS (UN code, DG class, DG markings / signs);- a floor-to-ceiling wooden shield is installed in the doorway of the container, and the full loading of dangerous cargo from top to bottom should be visible.

• Shipper is to load/stuff DG cargo as per the requirements.
• Shipper is to provide info/pics/docs as per the requirements and prior to cargo sailing from port of loading.
