On the driving test you will draw a card with two of these questions.
On the theory exam several of these questions are actual.
If you have suggestions for better English and other improvements in this slide show we will be grateful.◦ Suggestions can be sent to

The friction on the front wheels will be reduced.
Steering stability will be reduced. Breaking distance will increase. If your lights rise you will blend oncoming
traffic In addition, you risk fines or penalty, and “sperrefrist” (means you have to wait 6-24 months until you can start driver training)
What will be the consequencesif you run a too heavy trailerfor the car?

Allowed payload including passengers is 480 kg.. You, the driver is included in ”egenvekt med fører*”. If the teacher or examiners weight is e.g. 100 kg,
you can carry passengers and luggage weighing up to 380 kg.
* Net weight + 75 kg for the driver.

With a class B driving license you can drive a car and trailer with GVW not more than 3500 kg.◦ Exception: If the car you drive has a gross weight up to 3500 kg,
you can still tow a trailer of up to 750 kg GVW. So the absolute maximum permissible gross combination weight being 4250 kg.
What GVW can trailer behind this car have when the driver has a driving license for category B? To be cont….

Permissible total weight of this automobile is 2130 kg
Permissible weight of the trailer is then 3500-2130 = 1370 kg
In addition, the car factory should approve such a heavy trailer. (OK, 2000 kg is accepted)

This lamp should light
.. for example if you use the hand brake. Hand Break and dual-circuit brake system shares the
warning lamp, so that every time you pull the hand brake you also check that the warning lamp for dual-circuit brake system works.
If the warning light does not work when you pull the hand brake you should know that you not will be notified if there is a problem with the dual-circuit brake system.

Stop, finding the reason. This could be the dual-circuit system is not
functioning. Or that there is little brake fluid. There may be a fault with the handbrake. Maybe it is a technically fault and a defective control
unit.

While the engine is running:◦ Depress the brake pedal as hard as you can.◦ Hold down for approx. 5 seconds.◦ You will meet real resistance all the time!◦ If the brake pedal sag inward there must be a leak
somewhere and you should not run.◦ The brakes should resist a pressure of 100 kp.◦ This control should be taken every time you start
driving.
Check that the brakes can withstand pressure.

It can be worn brake pads, which means the brake system needs more fluid to "press" the brake pads against the brake discs.
There may also be leakage in the brake system.
Do not refill the brake fluid! Leave this to a professional repair shop.

In the period when it is permitted with studded tires: October15 th.- May 1st.in Northern Norway and November 1st.- First Sunday after 2 Easter day in the rest of the country there should be at least 3mm tread depth no matter what tire you run with.

Before checking the tires you should start the engine and turn the wheel well to the right or left so that the tread is visible.
A tread gauge can be found in the center console between the seats.
Normally, you should check your tire pressure with a tyre pressure gauge. ◦ Using this it is easy to let out some air so that it becomes
different air pressure in tires on the same axle. ◦ The BMW will register this immediately and the alarm will go! ◦ To prevent this, we have removed the tyrte pressure gauge on
the BMW. The examiners know about the problem.
