SCHOOL YEAR 2016 Peeking into . . . Technology! It is hard to believe that we are approaching the end of the school year. The students have accomplished so much this year in their technology classes. We have finished up our NetSmartz lessons, learning about online safety and security. Hopefully the students have gained a sense of Internet safety and how to use it ethically so they can safely use the Internet. PreK and Kindergarten are just about finished with our alphabet lessons with only a few more letters and activities to go. The 1st graders are completing a “Learning Story” with only four lines about a time they learned something in their lives. The 2nd graders have been busy increasing their money skills and doing more math activities on SumDog by challenging their classmates and other students around the country, as have the 3rd graders. The 4th graders have been learning about Mojo and how to increase brain power along with drawing their wanted posters of the Webville Outlaws. The 5th graders have learned to make charts and graphs in Excel. The 6th graders have finished up their Excel charts and will begin learning about Digital Citizenship. It is amazing how far these student have come and the material they have learned over the course of the year. I hope to make it an enjoyable learning experience for the remaining weeks. I am grateful for these opportunities to work with the children each week. Mrs. Fletcher Register for 2016-2017! Make an appointment to come see our classes in session and meet our teachers. Call the school office at 622-0414 or send email to info@stanthonyschool-nh.com.

THURSDAYS ON PENNACOOK STREET Every Thursday on Pennacook St. is different, yet in some ways they are the same. The women going in for abortions are different, but every week the same scenario plays out. This week when a couple was offered help with a pregnancy, the man replied, “Yeah give me ten thousand dollars!” but refused to talk with the sidewalk counselors. Some women hide their faces, some are smiling, and some are alone, but most have a companion who accompanies them. After the abortions, there are no smiling faces, no insults or wisecracks just sad faces, some crying, and some bent over in pain as the reality of their irreversible “choice” sets in. For more information about how you can help save women and babies from abortion via the Pennacook Pregnancy Center, or to make a donation, call (603)206-5306 or email staff@pennacookpregnancy.org and check out the new website at www.pennacookpregnancy.org and like the Center on Facebook at facebook.com/nhpregnancyhelp
