What is the sale of Trophies and Fur Coats?

The sale of trophies and fur coats is when somebody kills an animal and keeps the fur or a trophy. A trophy is a stuffed statue of the animal, usually the head. People sell these furs or trophies for thousands of dollars.

Why people agree with the selling trophies and furs

People who are good hunters usually agree. They agree because there is a lot of money involved when you sell a trophy. They sell from 100$- 1500$. All to have a trophy hanging on your wall.

Why people don’t agree with the selling trophies and furs

Some people think that the sale of trophies and fur coats is not a good thing. People think it promotes poaching because when people sell the trophies for lots of money they are motivated to hunt out of season. Other people think it is cruel to kill these animals.

How it Affects the Animals that are Hunted

It obviously affects the animals because we kill them, but when we do this the animals can not produce as much offspring. Which lowers the amount of that animal. Therefore it will eventually become endangered.
