NEW!INTRODUCTIONOFMOREWAVESTARTSWeareexcitedtoreportthatwehavearecordnumberofSandStormer'stakingpartin2017andonceagainwepredictthisyearseventtobeanothersellout.Toensurethatwereducethewaitingtimesonobstacleswewillbe increasingthenumberofwavesat thestart toensurethat there isaspreadofparticipantsaroundthecourse.

MOREOBSTACLES

Wearepleasedtoreportthattherewillbeevenmoreobstaclestonavigatein2017.Weencourageallparticipantstoattemptallobstacles,howeverifanyparticipantdoesnotwishtoattemptanobstaclethensimplybypasstheobstacle.Therewillbesomeobstaclesthisyearthatwillaskyoutonavigateoverdeeperwater,lifeguardswillbeondutyandlifejacketsareavailableforthosewhoneedthem.

Theentrynumberscontinuetooutgrowthenumberofavailableracechipsontheislandandsotheorganiserswill follow the leadof other largeobstacles races around theworld and continuewith achallengeformat,wherethefocusisallabouthavingfun,finishingsafelyandsupportingyourfellowparticipants

NEW!REGISTRATIONPROCESS

Thisyearorganiserswouldliketoremindparticipantstogivethemselvesplentyoftimebeforeracestarttocheckin.

Intheattempttoreducequeuingtimewhenregisteringthisyearparticipantswillbeaskedtofirsthandtheir waivers in thenmove along the registration system to check in, where youwill be handed anumberedwristbandandthenjointhet-shirtquetopickupyoureventt-shirt.
