SAP ECC 6.0 DEMO of Cash Journal Posting

Cash Journal Posting

Cash journal is a single-screen entry for making all cash receipts and payments.

One can use the SAP Easy Access Menu or the direct Tcode – FBCJ

Select the icon or press F4 to select the desired business transaction.

Op./ Cl. balance, total receipts and payments are displayed here.

For posting Cash receipt Cash receipt Tab can be selected.

Enter business transaction and amount. Every business transaction has a GL Account assigned to it.

Enter the cost center and profitability Segment

In the same manner more entries can be posted to Cash Journal.

Document status indicates whether the document has been recorded or not, Red signal indicates that the document is not posted yet.

Once posted the Document status indicates Green signal; the entry has been posted.

Select the entries to be posted and select post.

Yellow signal indicates that the entry has been saved.

An entry can also be saved and posted after checking.

To view Accounting documents select Follow on doc. icon

Select Accounting document

Accounting document is displayed.
