• The sardana , is a typeof circle dance typical of Catalonia.
• It’s origin is not clear.
• The halay, is a type of a circle and a line dancein Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey.
• It’s origin is not clear.
INSTRUMENTS
• Music for the sardana is played by a cobla, a band consisting of 10 windinstruments, doublebass and a tamborí(verysmall drum) played by11 musicians
• Halay is traditionallyplayed on the zurna supported by a davul . Two people play theseinstruments
