ScaffoldingProject for Tempa Rossa Flare

Gas flaring

In the course of standard oil and gas operations, Tempa Rossa plants don’trequire gas combustion: the total amountof extracted gas is converted into methane, LPG, liquid sulphur and fuel.

Nevertheless, a flaring structure was built as a safety system: in emergency and shutdown situations the small pilot flame is automatically activated and burns the gas to prevent hazards to the employees and public.

The project by numbers

Height: 131 metres

Volumen: 9447 m3

Weight: 120.350 kg

A scaffold was required to assemble the flaring structure.

For this scaffolding project, Teknopont used PON CAD software, developed by MEC CAD.
