ROCK PAINT AND SCAVENGER HUNT

Does your child enjoy being creative? Join us for this FREE rock painting/scavenger hunt summer activity organized by SSRCE

SchoolsPlus.

Participants of the program will receive a kit with paint, paint brushes, paint tray and written directions, we will also send out videos with ideas of painted rocks and “hiding” spots for the creations. Participants will find their own rocks to paint. Leaders will check in with participants during their week with

help and ideas – as well as to share their own creations Participants will paint their rocks, then place them in local

wooded areas; parks; playground; neighborhoods or in their yard for others to find. You can assign each painted rock a

certain “value” of points and whoever has the most points at the end of the scavenger hunt will win (prize is bragging

rights!).

This is an activity that can be done with family members, friends or neighbors and is fun for people of all ages

The program will be offered July 13th-16th, July 20th-23rd,

August 4th-6th, and August 10th-13th.
