ABSENCES / APPOINTMENTS
Please make sure to call the office at 715-261-0030 if your child will be absent or tardy to school. You can leave a message before or after school hours. If we don’t hear from you, we will try to contact you. If we are unable to contact you, we must enter the absence as unexcused. If your child needs to leave school for scheduled appointments, stop in the office to fill out an early dismissal form and your child will be called to the office. Please provide the school office with a Dr.'s excuse upon return to school.

Bridging Brighter Smiles Visit
Calling all students! Be a part of the 2019 Riverview Variety Show!
Variety Show will be held at Riverview on Thursday, May 2 starting at 5:00 pm. Families
are invited to also walk the art show and stay for an ice cream social!
Some ideas: Sing? Dance? Play an instrument? Group skits? Perform a Monologue? Recite Poetry? Magic? Tell jokes? “How to” demonstration?
Be creative! ☺
Don’t want to perform in the variety show but have a talent or interest you’d like to share? You can still participate!
Tables will be set up for displays.
For example, you might create a collage of yourself snowboarding, a lego creation, dance team picture- any interest or talent to display before and after the show! Science demonstrations/projects are also strongly encouraged! Simply turn in the form with demonstration selection or submit topic by e-mail. Students can perform in the show and have a demonstration.

Variety Show Performance Approvals Sign up online: tricia.zunker@gmail.com or return the attached form no later than
April 5. After turning in the attached approval form, students will be assigned a time for
their performance approval. Performance approvals will occur during recess on either Thursday, April 11 or
Monday,April 15. 4th and 5th graders who want to participate as MCs, stage hands or ushers
should also complete this form and will receive an assigned time to meet and discuss these roles.
Rehearsal will occur after school on Wednesday, May 1 and end at 4:45 pm. Show will begin promptly at 5 pm on Thursday, May 2. Students should arrive no
later than 4:40 pm. Demonstrations can be dropped off before school or after school on Thursday, May 2.
