The School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at

Rutgers University-Newark is highly recognized for its knowledge and

Curriculum The 42-credit curriculum consists of 11 courses (33 credits) of core and 3 electives (9 credits).

International Experience & Internships

Students have the opportunity to participate in an International Experience course and/or an Internship. Each course is 3 credits and it can be counted towards the concentration.

International Experiences •Seoul, South Korea (summer)•London, England (spring)•Dominican Republic (winter)

*All internships must be approved by the Associate Dean, Peter Hoontis

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• Official undergraduate transcripts

• Personal statement

• Resume

• Three letters of recommendation

• Online program application

• Non-refundable $65 application fee

• GRE scores (for students with an undergraduate GPA below

3.0)

• TOEFL scores (for international applicants) 79 or higher

Tuition cost is $919 per credit (each course is 3 credits)Student fees of $300 per courseTotal cost : $ 42,798

Financial Aid

Graduate student loan options include: Federal Direct Loans, Federal Graduate PLUS Loans, and Private Loans.

Students must be registered for at least 6 credits to qualify for Financial Aid
