PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
What a great honour it is to be serving you as President for a second year! My first flew by so quickly ... and was filled with so many memorable and exciting events and experiences. I've made many
new friends ... learned many new skills ... and celebrated our accomplishments together with you during RWTO's 'Diamond Jubilee' year. The celebrations and fun will continue on ... as this will be our Branch's '60th Anniversary' year!!!!
We'll continue celebrating … with our Outreach and annual 'Special Outreach' initiatives, generously providing aid to the community. Our ‘20+’ amazing Public Relations (‘PR’) initiatives will continue to create public awareness of our Branch's 'Caring and Sharing' spirit ... our diversified interest groups, events, and the fabulous entertainment provided ... as we continue to welcome new members who join our organization.
We'll continue celebrating ... our friendships ... through our dynamic programming, and ‘Bright FUN Ideas’ & 'Members Have Spoken' initiatives ... always encouraging and welcoming membership participation. I encourage you to look for opportunities to get involved, make connections, and share your ideas. It's my philosophy that we worked hard, are now retired, and deserve to have FUN, and enjoyment. RWTO is the vehicle to do just that, and so much more, so please check out this newest brochure, and come join the fun! There's something offered for all interests and comfort zones ... and it's a great way to make new friends!
We'll continue celebrating ... our personal accomplish-‐ ments. Being your President is truly one of the great joys of my life, and I will continue to put my gifts of 'imagination', 'risk taking', and 'creativity', to good use for RWTO. I want to give a special thank you to our hard working and talented Executive who make all things possible, and have been, and continue to be, a joy to work with. This RWTO year is our Branch's '60th Anniversary', and we have all sorts of exciting events planned ... RWTO Hamilton-‐Wentworth Branch is definitely a warm and entertaining place to be!
I'll continue celebrating ... as your President for this special "60th Anniversary" year. If you have any concerns, ideas, or questions, please don't hesitate to email or call me. Let's 'celebrate all that we are, and all that we do!'
Cheers, to another enjoyable and productive year! HOPE LEON, President 2016-‐17
