Recruitment of Current Seasonal Employees

The company reaches out to seasonal employees about returning next year and offers preference to those that choose to return.

The option to return is available, but the company does not

reach out to the employee to return.

SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS: SPOTLIGHT

• Six Flags Over Texas’ Active Recruitment Strategy: • Hiring fair at the end of the season

• Employees that attend the hiring fair are given

preference for next year

• Encourages employees to return in the future

FINAL THOUGHTS

•Start recruitment as early as possible•Mid to late January

•Partner with organizations and develop relationships with local high schools and colleges

•Focus on having a clear and accessible website

•Tap into the mature seasonal employee market

•Actively recruit current seasonal employees

•But…

ALWAYS REMEMBER:

“You can’t teach employees to

smile. They have to smile

before you hire them.”
