The Khan Academy is a non-governmental organization to education design by Salman Khan  to provide "a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.“

Khan Academy reaches about 10,000,000 students per month and has delivered over 300,000,000 lessons.

The website features thousands of educational resources, including a personalized learning dashboard, over 100,000 exercise problems, and over 5,000 micro lectures via video tutorials stored on YouTube teaching mathematics, history, healthcare, medicine, finance, physics, general chemistry, biology, astronomy, economics, cosmology, organic chemistry, American civics, art, history, macroeconomics, microeconomics and computer science.

Meeting Salman Khan

Salman Amin “Sal” Khan, or Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan, was born on 27 December 1965 and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States to a father from Barisal, Bangladesh and mother from Calcutta, India. He is an Indian actor, producer, television presenter, and philanthropist.

Mr. Khan was recognized for revolutionizing the way students can learn math, science and other subject areas.

He is the founder and executive director of The Khan Academy and one of five individuals who recently won the prestigious 2014 Heinz Award. His award was in the area of “Human Condition”.

Conclusion

This presentation equals a test in module 3 in English.

In this work we talked about the program “The Khan Academy” that we use in Information Systems (SI), and now we know more about it and its creator.
