NLOS vs. LOS
Line of Sight (LOS)
Preferred. Need to know the distance between cameras and head end. Lower cost and bandwidth not a problem.
Non-Line of Sight (NLOS)
1) 900 Mhz – Great penetration but limited to 1.5Mbps
2) 4G Cellular – Up to 14 Mbps depending on carrier and network traffic.
3) 5.8 GHz Mesh – Go around obstruction by placing mesh node between head end and camera.
