PANEL  DISCUSSION  REVIEW

A  few  weeks  ago,  we  held  a  Panel  Discussion,  and  wish  to  have  our  Pastor  address  a  few  unanswered  questions  submitted.    After  death,  is  there  sex  in  heaven?

• Really   people,   but   the   answer   is   an   assumed  “no”.  We  will   be  with   our   Heavenly   Father   and  without  a   natural  body.   There   is   certainly  much  more   to   substantiate   this   answer,   but   again  “no”.

What  is  the  key  to  happiness?

• Man   is   often   intrigued   with   happiness,   but  happiness   is   circumstantial   and   requires  something   to   happen,   therefore   it   is   often  temporal.   Joy   is  much  better.   Habakkuk   3:17  &  18  speaks  of  the  joy  that  comes  from  the  Lord.

Leading  by  example:  How  does  it  feel  to  know  that  you  all   influence   so  many   people?   Also,   do   you   ever   have  any  hang-‐ups?

• It   is   a   humbling   experience   and   one   that   is  certainly  reverenced.  The  expectation  by  some  is  for   you   to   fail,   while   others   expect   for   you   to  succeed.   In   the   end,   you   must   strive   to   please  God   and   not   man.   One   of   the   greatest  challenges   that   I   have   had   to   face   is   to  understand   why   someone   would   choose   to  remain  stuck,  even  after  gaining  the  “Truth”  that  is  in  God’s  Word.

What  advice  do  you  have  for  young  people  in  college  or  transitioning  into  their  first  year  of  college?

• Stay   connected   to   God.   Seek   out   a   Spirit-‐Filled  Ministry   to   which   your   spiritual   development  can  continue.  Be  selective  of  your  friends  as  you  encounter  them  and  ensure  that  they  share   the  same  Godly  Principles  taught  in  the  Word.

Is   it   okay   for   a   pastor   to   suspend   a   member   of   the  church?   And   tell   them   they   cannot   go   to   any   other  church  until  the  suspension  time  is  up?

• I  may  share  a  difference  of  opinion  with  that  of  my   fellow   colleagues,   but   the   answer   to   the   1st  question   would   be   a   “yes”   in   the   form   of   a  release,   if   the   person   remained   unrepentant  after   correction   was   made   and   they   became   a  danger   to  others  or   the  ministry.  The  answer  to  the   2nd   question   is   a   “NO”,   as   we   are  guardians/guides  to  the  sheep  and  not  owners.

I  loved  this  experience  to  answer  random  questions,  keep

them  coming  via  email:  pastoroministries@gmail.com.  Pastor  O
