Jesus has come to…reverse the bad news- the fall of

mankindoverpower sin and deathbring a new heaven and a new earth- a

new world order.

In Christwe have spiritual life,we have every spiritual blessing,we have the call to be his people,we are able to be holy and blameless

in his sight in love,

God’s chosen peopleHoly- set apart to God and

His waysBlameless- set apart away

from the world & its ways…in love- to love as He loves

In Christwe have adoption into God’s family,we have redemption from sin through

his blood,we have forgiveness of sins, we have freedom from guilt,

In Christwe have the revealed secret of the

purposes of God, Jesus the Headwe have the gospel of your salvation,we are marked in him with the seal of

the Holy Spirit, a guarantee of our inheritance in the age that is here and is coming.

Ephesians 1:16For this reason …I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

What is Paul asking for that they don’t already

have in Christ?

Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God

of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
