Setting up Gmail on a Windows Mobile Device

1. Turn on and connect to a WiFi network: Start>Settings>Connections>Wireless Manager

2. Open the Windows Mobile Email program from the Start menu

3. Tap Setup E-mail to setup a new account

4. Type in your E-mail address and password for your Gmail account

5. You will see that settings have been found for gmail.com

6. Type in your name and an account display name. These can be anything.

7. Set your Automatic Send/Receive interval then tap Finish

Your Gmail account is now setup on the Windows Mobile Device.

8. You will likely not be able to send or receive mail due to a security setting in Gmail. Log into your Gmail account on a PC and look for this Sign-in attempt prevented email.

9. Open the email and click on Learn more

10. Click on the ‘Less secure apps’ section hyperlink

11. Update your ‘Access for less secure apps’ setting to Turn on
