DESCRIPTION

by Margit HINKE [rough draft preprint first edition unpublished version] SHOCKING BLUE DEMON LOVER is a real-time, web-written, literary, visual, dada mashup micro prose project. A belingual fictional digital fluxus poetry love story, role-played by the photographer, writer, filmer and journalist Margit Hinke (aka @nobabe) with a foreword by John Perry Barlow. It includes her live-streamed, real-time iPhone short films, mobile photographs, music and is the analog short version and summary of my 24/7 literary Twitter http://twitter.com/nobabe and Facebook http://www.facebook.com/nobabe interactiv feeds between 2009 and 2010. M.'s digital cut-up poetry project was published in real-time via location based social networks like Brightkite and Qik and has been web_seeded via Twitter, FriendFeed and Facebook. This is where she met JP Barlow, the american poet, essayist and cyberlibertarian who has been following her digital poetry live feed for the past year

All I know of Margit Hinke is what I find here in this „book.“

Here is a world in which there is only Margit Hinke, a person of unknown age, height, weight, income, social background, disposition, moral character, political or sexual preference.

Thus, it is a world about which I know none of the essential things I know about my world.

It is a world where everything has been reduced to a few questions that become more evocative and troubling with each image and scrap: Who is Margit Hinke? What is it really like to be Margit Hinke? If Margit Hinke could speak, what would she say and how would it sound?

And finally, how would it feel to kiss the central feature of Mar-git Hinke‘s world: Margit Hinke‘s lips.

Such questions echo silently around the giant, expanding room that is the Margit Hinke part of my mind.
