What we are about• We are trying to build a community

around entrepreneurship and technology

• Trying to replicate the Valley's greatest advantage: person to person relationships

• Also building profile & awareness of the start-up scene

Who we are

• A mailing list becoming a community

• Eclectic: founders, developers, investors, lawyers, journalists, advisors

• Very very welcoming & inclusive

Things we do

• Startup Camp– First was in Sydney in September• traffichawk.com.au – RTA traffic info on Google Maps• linkviz.com – visualising real time Twitter links• ut.ag – monetise outbound traffic (controvertial)

– Melbourne was in October– Sydney is on again in January 09

• 'Official Friday' – every Friday drinks– Sydney: Grace Hotel, Bar 77 (upstairs)– Melbourne: Carlton Hotel
