Week FourClitheroe

Hello! Welcome back to Silver Bend! It’s Keika’s turn in the rotation. Last week in Silver Bend she gave birth to Alice and is currently pregnant with baby B. She decided who

her husband will be, Craig Ray, a bit of a goof, but a sweet goof.

Keika closed her eyes after losing her dinner, willing her stomach to settle down. She just wished she could be

pregnant without morning sickness. The potty god could only handle so much devotion.

The sound of yips brought her out of the bathroom.“Hey Zimmer.” Keika said scooping the puppy off the

ground. “You shouldn’t be off the porch all by yourself.”“Ruf!” Zimmer yipped and wagged his tail.

Keika snuggled the puppy, he was adorable, hopefully she wouldn’t regret the extra demands he would create.

She was already pretty depend on her energizer. There was just too much to do and not enough time. Getting

actual sleep wasn’t possible right now.

The morning air was chilly, but Alice didn’t seem to mind. She slurped down milk like she was starving.

Melissa Fancey came by, Keika caught here and invited her to stay for an outing. But Keika’s was interrupted by

a belly pop. “Doing a challenge?” Melissa asked.

“Yes.” Keika admitted.“Always avoided doing those.” Melissa said sagely.

Keika said goodbye to Melissa when it got dark. It was time for Alice’s first birthday.

Keika caught newly toddlered child. She saw a lot of Pao in her face. Alice was a messy child, outgoing and playful, but not very nice. First thing she did was pull

Keika’s hair.“Ouch Alice.”

Alice went from a quiet baby to a noisy toddler. Not long after Keika laid her down she woke up screaming.

“Okay, if you’re awake you’re going to potty.”“Momma!”

“Alice can you say bear?” Keika asked.“Hare!!!” Alice chirpped happily.

Later that afternoon, Keika entered her third trimester.

Being pregnant was one excuse not to work on finding the next baby daddy. She invited Waylon Menon over

for a date.

“Thanks Keika for inviting me over, you’re the prettiest woman I’ve ever met.”

“Thanks Waylon.”

“Boy you’re tense. Here let me rub that out.” Keika offered.

“Oh man, how did you know? That’s the spot.”

As Keika and Waylon got to know each other, Melissa Fancey dropped off a present.

“I got the perfect thing, no one would sell a gnome.”

“Thanks for coming over Waylon.” Keika said ushering him outside. Alice was waking up.

“I should be saying thanks, I had a nice time.”“Then can I call you again?” Keika asked.

“I hope you do.” Waylon smiled, “Have a good night.”

“So you like to interrupt dates, huh.” Keika teased Alice, keeping the toddler away from her hair.

“Momma dates!” Alice giggled.

“I hope Keika loves these flowers!” Waylon said dreamily, not noticing Alice on the ground.

Keika tended to her struggling tomato plants. The frost was slowly killing them, but she hoped to buy them

enough time until spring.

“No Momma!” Alice yelled as Keika tried to teach her to walk.

“Alice you’re going to wake up Zimmer.” Keika sighed, “You wouldn’t want to wake him up, he needs his sleep.”

“Okay.”

Alice was napping, Keika snuck some time to play with Zimmer.

“Who’s the cutest puppy???”“Arf!” Zimmer barked, playfully snapping at her finger.

“OHMYGOSH!!!” Keika quickly set Zimmer down as labor pains struck her.

She gave birth to another baby girl she named Buri. Buri had her eyes and Craig’s hair.

“Your daddy is gonna be happy to see you.” Keika said tickling Buri’s tummy. If she got brave enough to call

him again.

“I should call him.” Keika mused. Still she was nervous. She loved Craig, but she couldn’t be faithful to him. She

didn’t want to break his heart.

She did call Waylon back over. He brought Thai’s wife Amanda with him.

“Amanda! Just cause your gnome got stolen doesn’t mean you can take mine!” Keika lectured as Amanda

scooped up Melissa’s gift.

Keika was about to take Waylon to bed when she realized she no longer had a bed.

“Waylon, I’m tired, about we try again tomorrow.” Keika sighed.

“I understand.” Waylon nodded.

“Feel better Keika.” Waylon said coming by later to drop off flowers.

Keika used the energizer and tend to her tomatoes. “Come on tomatoes hang in there.”

It was Zimmer’s birthday. He grew into a handsome clone of his father, Hans.

Keika struggled to keep Alice entertain in the warmth of the nursery. Alice was very adventurous always wanting

to go outside.

Zimmer needed to learn some boundaries as well. He was determined to eat Keika’s new bed. She put a swift

stop to that.

Buri’s time as an infant was stop. A little more than a day and a half. It was Alice’s birthday as well.

Keika tossed Buri up in the air. And caught an adorable toddler. She could see mostly herself in her daughter’s

face, but there were traces of Craig here and there.

Keika set Buri down and scooped up Alice.

Alice grew up in the a whirl of confetti. She even looked more like Pao now.

“Yay I’m big, I can play on the beach now!”

Once her children were asleep, Keika called Waylon over.“This is the most amazing view.” Waylon sighed happily

as he laid down.

“It’s cold.” Keika said curling up next to him.“Should we get under the covers?” He asked.

“I think we should.”

Obviously on the other side of the wall, Alice snored contently in her new big girl bed.

Her and Buri were up early, but entertained themselves in their room.

The school bus arrived for Alice. “Don’t be nervous you’ll do fine.” Keika told her.

“I’m not nervous.” Alice insisted.

Keika didn’t get a chance to watch the school bus leave. She had to make a dash to the bathroom. Baby three

was on its way.

Keika made over Buri’s hair. She liked the shorter look.

Buri had such a sweet face, why not show it off. Keika definitely saw Craig in Buri’s eye shape.

A familiar friend came by for a visit.“Grimalkin!” Keika exclaimed.

“Woof!” The wolf wagged his tail.

Keika played with her old friend. She decided she wanted him to stay.

“Don’t go Grim.” Keika said, “Why don’t you stay with us?”

“Ruff!” Grimalkin bounced on his toes.“I take that as a yes.”

Alice came home from school and ran straight for the beach. She stayed there until Keika finally called her in.

“Mom, I don’t want to do my homework.”“Well I guess you can just keep making Bs forever.”

“But it’s so hard to see in the dark.”

“Well put it away for now.” Keika said. Grimalkin just peed on the floor and she entered her second trimester.

“Let’s go to bed.”

“I bet this house is a gold mine.” Jessica whispered to herself as she crept across the yard.

“Like stealing candy from a baby.” Jessica laughed as she

stole Buri’s toys. She even swiped the lawn gnome.

“HEY STOP THIEF!” Demi shouted running and tackling Jessica.

“GET HER!” Alice cheered.“You didn’t have to be so rough.” Jessica complained.

“Alice get away from there.” Keika said.

The next morning before her children woke up Keika broke down in years. The stress of it all were too much.

She didn’t even have a proper house to raise her children in. She couldn’t afford to be robbed.

“Momma?” A small voice said at feet.

“No sad Momma.” Buri said patted her mother’s shoulder.

“I’ll be okay, here let me fix your hair.”

When Alice woke up Keika did her hair too.“I can see.” Alice said.

“I’m sorry dear, I should have realized it the other night.” Keika said, “It wasn’t the darkness in the bathroom that

made it hard to do your homework.”“Do I have to wear them?”

“If you want to see.”

Alice decided she liked being able to see clearly, even if she had to wear dumb old glasses. She sent the morning

teaching Zimmer to shake.

Despite everything, Saturday was still Reno Day and there was a little money in the bank. Mostly from Alice

finding shells on the beach.

Keika managed to get her bedroom closed in. And much of the kitchen. She moved Alice’s bed into her room so

make room in the nursery for more children later on. Her magnificent view was gone. But she hopefully she would be able to afford window soon. The bathroom was now tiled and she got a bathtub to bathe children and dogs.

Grimalkin and Zimmer got along great. Keika had been a little worried because Grimalkin didn’t like cats at all.

But the wolf and the dog were like brothers.

Keika’s Saturday night was disturbed by her newest child getting bigger.

She couldn’t go back to sleep. So she gave Zimmer a bath instead.

Sunday she invited Thai and Amanda with their family over for a visit.

“Hi I’m Alice.” “I’m Odin.”

“My momma says your dog in my dog’s momma.”“Tiffany had puppies and Daddy gave your momma one.”

“That’s so cool, want to play on the beach?”

“Hanging in there Keika?” Thai asked, “The house is coming along.”“I’m managing. We were robbed the other day, Alice thought it was cool.” Keika shook her head, “She got to see the burglar get arrested.

Thankfully Pony lifted my taxes so I could concentrate on putting a rood over our heads.”

“That certainly helps. Amanda and I make enough to put plenty into the uni fund.”

Shortly after that Keika sent everyone home so Alice could finish her homework.

“This is better!” Alixe exclaimed.“I thought it would help.” Keika smiled.

“Alright Buri make a wish.” Keika said after lighting the candles on the cake.

“Tickles!” Buri cheered.

Buri ran down to the beach before Keika could take a picture of her.

“It’s so big!” Buri gasped at the ocean.“Come help me find sea shells Buri!” Alice called out.

Keika went to bed, knowing her girls would come in when they got tired. Zimmer was out there with them. Grimalkin climbed up in bed with her. All in all it wasn’t the easiest week, but it wasn’t the hardest either. Alice and Buri were old enough to help out more. And a new baby was one the way. Tomorrow she would call Craig

and tell him everything.

Another chapter done! This one I was able to get out a lot faster than I expect. As you read in the chapter, I’m waiving

Keika’s taxes at least until Alice is a teen. She’s barely bringing in enough to survive. Thankfully the kids are

getting old enough to help out. Alice digging for shells gave them enough for the few upgrades they received. I’m rolling a di to decide whether kids have glasses or not. If they roll a six then they get glasses. The odds go up if a parent wears glasses. Thai’s kids have a 50% chance of wearing glasses.

While if both parents wear glasses the child who rolls a one doesn’t have to wear glasses. That’s why Alice ended up

with glasses. This is the first neighborhood I’ve made kids wear glasses. I guess cause I hated wearing my glasses

growing up.Gabie’s first week in Silver Bend is next ->
