Anticipatory Set

In as much detail as possible, describe a pineapple. In a few sentences, describe it’s look, smell, and feel.

is a comparison of two unlike things by using

the words “like” or “as”.

is a direct comparison of two unlike things that may typically use words

“is”, “are”, or “was”.
