5PM (‘ish) Outpatient/Inpatient: Almost

exclusively outpatient Weekend Duty: None for service

SMALL ANIMAL DERMATOLOGY (2) What should you expect to do:

Everything! History taking, physical examinations,

diagnostics and interpretations, record keeping, client communications….This is a very hands on rotation for students

Organization of receiving: Students see cases as a group vs.

individually Service Specific Clinic Work

Expectations: Completion of discharge instructions,

communications as indicated Consultation for Junior Surgery dogs

SMALL ANIMAL DERMATOLOGY (3)

Study Expectations: Expect 1 hour of “case related” reading

in evening per receiving day Completion of Learn@UW (Canvas)

activities at your own pace; there are 12 modules and each one will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

End-of-rotation quiz: passing grade is 75%
