DESCRIPTION

This mindmap was the outcome of a simulated Future Search Conference seeking common ground on Social Media and Learning. It was conducted in a graduate level Change Strategies class in the VCU Adult Learning Program, as a part of the HR Development track. The simulation lasted 2.5 hours and we didn't quite finish the "Focus on the Present". We also only had 6 people as participants whereas an ideal Future Search has 64 - 8 stakeholder groups of 8 each. We followed the process given in the Weisbord & Janoff's 2nd edition of Future Search. Despite the small numbers, the simulation gave us some deeper insight into the process of large group interventions. It would be exciting to participate in a full on Future Search on a topic of interest.
