MEASUREMENT

Samara Sommer

Why Measure Social Media? To effectively use social media, clubs,

teams and organizations need to measure and analyze social media!

You can NOT prove value or success without measuring!

What Should You Look At? What YOU do What OTHERS say about you What your COMPETITORS (other clubs,

teams, organizations) do

Analyzing what posts gain the most interactions allow you to create voice and create posts that will gather greater interaction in the future

Measure Comments, Likes, Retweets, Favorites & more

Check the number of followers over each month! If there was an increase – what did you do right? Decrease? What can you improve on?

How are your organization members using your social media pages?

Get your organization in campus media outlets! *IN A POSITIVE WAY!

What are the other organizations in your area doing on social media, how big are their audiences?

Why Will This Benefit You? Move forward after looking at YOU,

YOUR AUDIENCE, and YOUR COMPETITORS and know how to better use your own social media platforms to effectively reach goals and your target audience.

Thank you for coming today. Enjoy!
