The card number
The Softphone team use Jira to store all of the background information on the stories,
defects and technical debt they work on. This number is a reference point to that item in
Jira.

Dates
In order to understand the cycle times for cards they put the start date (the date work began on a card) and the end date (the date
the card reached the done column).

Avatar
Each team member has an avatar they place on the cards they are working on. This allows the team to see at a glance who is working on
what.

Flow data
Everyday that a card is on the board the team place a sticky dot on it. The number represents column on the board the card was in and the colour represents how much time was spent working on it. If the dot is green then there was 4+
hours spent on it, if it is yellow then circa 2 hours was spent on and if it is red no time was spent progressing it. This helps us understand flow efficiency (the amount of actual time we spend working on something from the time we commit to it till it’s done). It also lets us see at a glance how well work is
progressing.
