Software and Tools Report: Jen Ferguson’s Lecture

Jen Ferguson will present about her experience working in a lab, working

with annotating and applying disciplinary metadata to make data sets

discoverable, and student's issues with file naming conventions and similar

record management issues. In order to prepare for her presentation, you will

choose a tool to research and share your findings with the class.

Report due during class activity/discussion: October 4th

2. Choose a Tool

3. Prepare your report with the following:

● Name of the tool

● Who created the tool

● What is the intended purpose/audience for this tool

● Describe briefly how the tool works and what it does
