HIT Software

Starting the cloud application

Basics

The HIT software is one of the three modules of

the HEIDENHAIN Interactive Training method for

learning about controls from HEIDENHAIN. The

HIT software helps you learn the fundamentals of

CNC technology, how to operate the HEIDENHAIN

programming station, and how to create

programs with the HEIDENHAIN conversational

programming language. The HIT workbook

contains assignments to be completed with the HIT

software.

After successfully ordering the software you

receive a confirmation from cleverbridge as well as

another e-mail message with the subject “Account

activation”.

Open the e-mail and double-click the link.

Fill out the form. If it is not already there, enter the

HEIDENHAIN ID (e-mail address) included in the e-

mail. Choose a password consisting of letters and

numbers. Then click the “Activate” button.

A confirmation appears. Activate the HIT software

with a double-click on the colored “HIT start page”

text.

Select your language by clicking the appropriate flag.

Select the correct version by clicking its icon.

7.

Enter your HEIDENHAIN ID (e-mail address) and the

password you chose.

Click “OK”.

8.

The name of the licensee and the HEIDENHAIN ID

appear. Click “OK”.

The HIT – HEIDENHAIN Interactive Training title

screen appears.

Miscellaneous

You can now log in at any time through the link in

the e-mail. As an alternative you can log in through

http://training.heidenhain.de/heidenhain-interactive-

training/.
