Solar operated Rapid Milk Chiller

Promethean Spenta Technologies completed its first solar installation on a Rapid Milk Chiller

which is now running successfully.

Functionality

Solar RMC is a hybrid system i.e. charges the thermal battery either through sun or electricity.

It will always prioritize solar power to charge the solar battery bank (which in turn charges

thermal battery) and will look out for grid as an alternative source of power when sunlight

intensity falls below a threshold.

4. 120V, 100 Ah flooded tubular lead acid battery

5. Energy generation of 12kWh on a bright sunny day
