ACPLINK is a assistant software by design and development of microwave
networks PDH, SDH, SCADA, etc, built according to ITU-R recommendations and
technical considerations of the telecommunications industry, ACPLINK is a
support tool for design engineers who seek a computerized simulation of
microwave networks.

ACPLINK V5.0EASY TO USE AND FRIENDLY
ACPLINK has a complete set of tools very easy to use and friendly, with a very short learning
curve, the philosophy of software development is to provide tools ACPLINK for use by aSenior Engineer and a Junior Engineer with few hours of training, learning is intuitive since it
is software developed by Project Engineers for Project Engineers.
TOOLS
ACPLINK has very useful and powerful tools, many of the tools are unique ACPLINK when
developing microwave network, a specific example arises during the acquisition of a new
web site to expand a microwave network, ACPLINK has several tools for searching
repeaters, the program literally tells with a picture of the geography where to put a repeaterbetween the backbone and the target site to which you have to go, ACPLINK has a tool
called assistant design that calculates the position exact repeaters along a network that tries
to plan, only enter the start and end coordinates and the program then calculated ACPLINK
step jumps and will indicate the results in an Excel table.
VERSATILE
ACPLINK is software that allows installation on multiple PCs, but the program will only work
on that PC with the USB key authentication.
GRAPHIC INTERFACES
ACPLINK is built on standards and ITU-R recommendations, recommendations from the
telecommunications industry, the software development team includes design engineers that
provide ideas for graphic interfaces, also involved software engineers and engineers with
extensive experience in the design of microwave networks.

TOPOGRAPHIC DATABASE
ACPLINK uses the SRTM topographic database and SRTM-3-1, the latter is only available toU.S. and their associated states, the database SRTM-3 is available for download online and
this is usually used by the program ACPLINK, the image shown below is a representation of
the numerical database of geography in a monochrome image and is visual reference for
user, it is easier for the user to navigate the working image..

PROFILE RADIOLINK
ACPLINK has a module that lets you create profiles for a radiolink, the module allows testing
and analysis on the profile, also available for integration with Google Earth to view the profile
in the GE graphical interface as shown in the following pictures .

PROFILE WITH MISSING DATA
ACPLINK uses the SRTM topographic database
and SRTM-3-1 (only USA), the database
SRTM-3 has some shady areas without terrain
height data, so that if a radiolink then crossesthese areas, the profile show an image as seen
on the left, in the absence of data, the program
ACPLINK interpolates data from existing data at
their ends, but we also have an online solution:
the program has an algorithm that can connect
to Google Earth servers and request the
missing data, data acquisition is automatic.
MODIFIED PROFILE
After obtaining the missing data, the software
automatically update the image with the profile
with no missing data, we should mention that
the data obtained from Google Earth are in the
same format WGS84 which is based on SRTM-
3 data

REPEATER
ACPLINK has several tools to bucar of repeaters in when there is no line of sight
between the initial and final position, shown in the example below shows two
points A and B without line of sight and the program calculates a set of solutionswhich could installing a repeater, and it is seen that real-time profiles of both
pointA to the variable as variable to point B have line of sight.

DATABASES OF EQUIPMENT AND LINES TRANSMISSION
ACPLINK has the module Junior for calculation of link availability, data are acquired profileand database of equipment, transmission lines and antennas, the user only has to choose
from a range of options, calculation models are available for popular models of computation:
Vigant-Barnett, ITU-R P.530-12, ITU-R and ITU-R Rep.338 P.530-6.

ACPLINK has a database of antennas that the user will be built according to the technical
requirements, as shown in figure lines below each antenna has technical specifications
also contain radiation patterns HH, HV, VV and VH the same as serve for InterferenceAnalysis
This last tool is not included in the license ACPLINK, Interference Analysis Tool is a
separate program that integrates the program ACPLINK V5.0
