DESCRIPTION

Learn how the Santa Cruz Public Libraries is engaging the local music community by creating a database of local music. This downloadable streaming database compensates musicians, expands access, establishes a historical archive, and supports the local music economy. This presentation is for the Internet Librarian 2013 Conference.

TRANSCRIPT

The SoundSwell project was supported in part the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
