Spice Isle beckons lucky WMN readerA Western Morning Newsreader is preparing for the tripof a lifetime to exotic Zanzibarafter winning first prize in ourwin a holiday competition.

Chris Grose-Callan ( p i c t u re dright, above) won the prize inlast year’s competition run bythe WMN in conjunction withDevon based travel companyZambezi Safaris and the Zan-zibar Collection. Lucky Chrisfrom Tintagel received the

prize from Zambezi’s SueBowern and the WMN’s Stew-art Barriball. She will betaking a week’s holiday for two,including flights on the beau-tiful Indian Ocean island,known as the Spice Isle, laterthis year.

It will be Chris’ second trip toAfrica. Last year she went onsafari to Botswana’s Chobe Na-tional Park, Cape Town andVictoria Falls. She said: “I don’t

usually enter competitions butthis one caught my eye. All I’vewon before is a bottle of wine! Ic a n’t believe I’m off to Zanzib-ar, it’ll be great to visit anotherpart of Africa”.

Chris will be spending sixnights at one of the ZanzibarCollection Hotels with flightsand transfers. The travel loverwas invited to Zambezi Travelon Delamore Estate in Corn-wood to receive her itinerary.
