North District Park was developed in 1990. It comprises two major parts: Phase I (Passive Facilities e.g. Garden) and Phase II (Active Facilities e.g. Basketball Court). The North District Park is located between Fanling and Sheung Shui. Phase I of the park is very special. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The structures of the Park are designed in the Yangzhou style of the Qing Dynasty. Around the gardens, you can see the wonderful artifical lake. Phase II of the park is big. There are three basketball courts, two volleyball courts and chess tables. You can play ball games with your friends here. If you want to visit North District Park, you can get there by taxi, bus, minibus and car. By walking, it takes you 10 minutes from Sheung Shui KCR station.
