Installing SQL Server in an Azure VM
Start your Azure Windows Server VM and remote in with your administrator account. Using Internet Explorer from within the VM visit Visual Studio Benefits and login (setting up your login should have been completed the first week of class). Begin the download of SQL Server Developer Edition
Since we will be installing in a VM it is best to choose Download Media
Select iso format use your VM’s D:\ drive hold the download and then, well, download it.
After this has been downloaded you can right-click on the .iso from Windows Explorer and choose mount this .iso so it looks like a DVD to the Windows Server VM. Use Setup.exe from the virtual DVD within the VM to get started.

A product key should be pre-entered
Set Mixed mode & PW click FILESTREAM tab
Add Filestream
Need to Add Current User
Leave Controller name blank
