A number of thank you’s. Thank you all for the birthday wishes, cards and gifts.
Thanks to everyone from both parishes who helped to clean and sanitize the church
buildings so that we could have Mass this weekend. Thanks to the Ladies Guild who
planted the flowers around St. Francis Xavier Church and thanks to all who helped
and continue to help in Live Streaming our Sunday Masses.
Public Masses will continue at the regularly scheduled times; 4:30 PM on Saturday in Attica, 8:30 AM Sunday in Attica and 11 AM Sunday in Covington. Public daily Masses will resume Monday, June 15
th for both parishes following the normal daily Mass
schedule. The dispensation from the Sunday obligation has been extended to August 15.
If you do not feel comfortable coming to Mass during this period, you are
not obligated to do so. If you are not feeling well, we ask that you not come
to Mass. Masks will be required for those who do not have them. If you do
not have a mask, we will provide you with one at the front door of the
church.
Social distancing will be practiced. Seating will be on a first come first served
basis. You may sit with your family. However, we ask that only one family sit
in each pew. Communion will be distributed after Mass in the hand only. The
cup will not be offered. We ask that you leave the church immediately after
receiving Communion.
Confessions will continue at 3:30 PM Saturday in Attica and 10:30 AM in Covington.
Confessions will be behind the screen only.
Offerings and Collections Your generosity has been tremendous in the past and will
continue to be appreciated. You may mail your Sunday offerings and special
collections to either of the parishes at their normal mailing addresses. You may also
sign up for online giving through the links on our website. Donations are also
accepted in the baskets at the rear of each church.

Clergy Reassignments The assignments associated with Uniting in Heart have been
postponed from June 29 to August 19. Priests will continue in their current
assignments until that date.
Be the 1% Additional lectors and volunteers to read announcements are needed. See
Father Sam if interested.
