“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the
Father has sent me, so I send you.’” (John 20:21)
Peace – the first gift of the risen Lord. Just as
Jesus sent the apostles out into the world, so
too, He sends us. As disciples of Jesus, we are
called to be grateful and generous. Look for op-
portunities to share His peace, not only within
our local parish boundaries, but outside of them
as well. In giving, we receive the peace of Jesus
Christ.
Stewardship Reflection
Prayer for Confirmation Holy Spirit, strengthen our youth who are making the
Sacrament of Confirmation with your gifts of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety and
Fear of the Lord, and serve as a disciple of Christ. Grant that they may grow into the fullness of the stature of Christ. Fill them with the joy of your presence. In-
crease in them the fruit of your Spirit. Help them to ex-perience and trust your dwelling within, so that they can
count on your guidance today and every day. Show us the way to help one another become better disci-ples of Jesus Christ, sharing your love with our world and
with each person we meet. Come Holy Spirit, Come!
Cut out the below Prayer for Confirmation & consider praying it each day for our Confirmation Candidates
until they receive the Sacrament on May 25th.
