Dear Parents / Guardians,

As we approach the Advent Season, we wish to draw your attention to a number of

upcoming events in our school. Our Infant Nativity Play will take place at 7pm in St. Patrick’s

Church, beside the school on Thursday, December 20th. Ms. Brown will continue to

communicate with parents in this regard.

This year, we will have an end of term mass on Friday, December 21st at 10am. All parents

are invited to this mass. Christmas hymns will be sung throughout the mass. Please continue

to wear the normal uniform during the month of December, apart from the last week of

school. This takes pressure off parents to have to purchase Christmas jumpers etc...

I am pleased to announce that we have organised a small trip for each class during the

month of December. In this regard, we wish to give you as much notice as possible. The

dates and locations for the trips are as follows;

Junior Infants Senior Infants First Class

Show in Opera House Friday, Dec 14th €8

Second Class Third Class Fourth Class

Show in St. Michael’s Theatre, New Ross

Tuesday, Dec 18th €10

Fifth Class Sixth Class

Ice-Skating & Whites Hotel

Wednesday, Dec 19th €15

All of the above trips are during school time so there will be no change to pick up or

collection times.
