The JV girls soccer team

won their third straight game in the sweltering heat on Friday defeating Forest Park 1-0. Tori

Elliot scored the game's only goal, while Sydney Smith posted another shutout. Smith was able to keep Forest Park off the board with an early save on a penalty kick. Tremendous play from Brianna Cushing, Maddie Rowlette, Katherine

Perry, Evelin Villafuerte and the rest of the girls. Great Job.

Cypher CompetitionDo you think you can rap?

Then, you are invited to Stafford’s first Cypher Competition,

Key Club Meetingsare on the morning and afternoon on

Thursday, May 14th. Elections will be that day and will have the make-

up walk for the March of Dimes after the afternoon meeting.

Seniors- please remember that the March of Dimes walk as well as attending the Relay for Life are

required activities to receive a graduation chord.

Scholarships

Please bring any notifications you have received regarding scholarships you have been

awarded to the Counseling Center. This includes all scholarship monies regardless of whether you have accepted them or not. You

will be recognized for your achievements at the Scholarship Program. Any questions please see

Mrs. Bryant in the Counseling Center.

The Diversity Club

will be meeting on Tuesday, May 12th at 2:30 in Mr. Bixler's room, C102. All

students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend. Come see what you can do to help

improve the sense of community and acceptance here at Stafford High School.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test

will be given Tuesday morning May 12 from 7;50 to 11;00 in the JROTC Aimee building.

Students interested in careers in the military services should take this assessment. Sign up

in the guidance office. Seats are limited.

Yearbooks will be Distributed on May 22.

• Some extra yearbooks are available on a first come, first served basis. The cost of a yearbook is now $75.

• Make checks out to Stafford High School or bring correct change of $75. Yearbooks are no longer available online. There is a limited number of extra yearbooks. Yearbooks from 2013 and 2014 will also be available for only $25 each.

Any students taking an AP Exam

must check in to your first block before reporting to your testing site.

All students that do not check in will be marked absent.

Interested in running for class office for the 2015-2016 school year? There is a MANDATORY information meeting on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2:30 in the

Senior Cafeteria. You MUST attend this meeting if you are planning to run

for class office for next school year.

Prom Guest Forms are

now available on fusion, in the main office and outside S215. These completed forms

are due to Mrs. Wick in S215 by Today, May 12 .Forms will NOT be

accepted after today.

SENIORS 2015If you need a copy of your immunization record for COLLEGE, a Job, or your Parent’s Records; you will need to request from the Nurses office before the end of the school year. There is a 24-hour processing time. The Nurse is not on duty during the summer and the immunization record is not readily available.
