St.Andrew’s DaySt.Andrew’s Day

The children in Miss Comyns room were very busy learning to play “Bonny, Bonny Scotland” on the tin whistle. They played it for the entire school as part of our St.Andrew’s Day celebrations.

Some of the older children made traditional shortbread and oatcakes from the recipes you sent us. We shared them

together today it was a lovely treat!

This means Happy St.Andrew’s Day in Irish.

We set up the data projector and looked at all the lovely powerpoint presentations you sent us. We were amazed by all the facilities you have. We

especially liked your social room.

The children in the Junior Room were busy creating pictures in response to the story they heard about St.Andrew.
