A survey taken by teachers each year designed to help schools progress toward

meeting the goals of the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology and the district.

The chart evaluates each campus in 4 areas:

• Teaching and Learning

• Educator Preparation and Development

• Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support

• Infrastructure for Technology

Uses of the STaR Chart data

• Determine professional development needs

• Provide accurate data• Information is gained and documented• Determine funding based on identified

needs• Provide data support needed for

grants and other resources• Help conceptualize a vision of

technology
