The faculty development program (FDP) on Single Phase Domestic Electrical wiring was

held on 4th September 2019

4. BSNL Training Program for III year, Department of Physics

The BSNL training program for the III year students of Department of Physics were

conducted for three days on 03.01.2019, 04.01.2019 and 07.01.2019.

5. BSNL TRAINING PROGRAM - OPTICAL FIBER TECHNOLOGY- II Bsc physics

The BSNL training program was a three day course on optical fiber communication which

was held in our college from 03/01/2019 to 07/01/2019. PRO team members from RGM

TTC, BSNLMeenambakkam, Chennai

6.INTERDEPARTMENTALCOMPETITION HELDON 15/12/2018

An inter departmental competition was held on 15/12/2018 under the DBT sponsored star

college scheme

7. Educational visit on 13.12.2018 to OPG Power Plant - Gummidipoondi

The students of B.Sc. Physics, I year (39 students) of JBAS college for women were

on a Educational visit to OPG Power Plant situated in Gummidipoondi taluk of thiruvalluvar

district under DBT sponsored star college scheme.

8. OUTREACH PROGRAM -II YEAR - Date: 10/08/2018

Venue:Fathima Basheer Matriculation and Higher Secondary School for Girls

The students of II B.Sc Physics went to teach the students of Fathima Basheer Matriculation

and Higher Secondary for Girls to impart some of the knowledge of ours to the students in an

innovative, interactive and easily understandable way with charts, models and videos.
